Awesome video. Did you have to do anything special to bring your drone to Tanzania? Definitely want to bring it.
@luboyanev2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I didn't have to do anything special, but feel free to do a quick google search on the topic. I am not sure if there are any restrictions, as long as we follow the basic flying rules :) Cheers and enjoy your trip to Africa!

What kind of camera? Very excellent resolution
@luboyanev3 жыл бұрын
Thank you, it is a mix of cameras, mostly on the Sony A7SIII (filmed in 1080p), Gopro in 2,7k, DJI Mavic 2 Pro in 4k, and a single clip with a phone. Cheers!

What kite sizes did you use mostly?
@luboyanev2 жыл бұрын
Hey, I am the camera guy, but here for this video mostly it was 12-13m, sometimes 9 as well. The following year it was many days on the edge between enough and not enough with the 12m, so I would say good to have something 12-13-14m. Also my brother and I are around 65-70kg. Some larger guys were using 15m. Hope that helps and have fun out there!

@@pegas2929 nice, if you plan on going around the same time (around min/end of December to February) it should be good. Enjoy 🌴

Hello! How are you? I was doing a google search for kitesurf and yoga in Zanzibar and I somehow came across your profile. I will be travelling to and staying in Paje from the 8th-16th of June and am looking to do some kitesurfing and yoga classes... are you in Zanzibar around then? If not they do you know any instructors or places in Paje? Any info would be much appreciated! Thank you so much and have a beautiful start to your week! Big Hugs, Laurent ps. Love this video btw!!!

Hey, thank you for your comment. Yes Paje is full with kitesurfing schools, some of the places I think had both yoga and kitesurfing. If you are looking for getting lessons or renting equipment, you can just walk along the beach in Paje and in 15 minutes you will have crossed more than 5 kite centers, you can just walk in and see if what they offer is something for you. I won't be in Paje during that time, but I hope you will have a great time during your stay there! Cheers!

Is there a recomended period to do kitesurfing in Zanzibar or is there a period to avoid? Thank in advance!
@luboyanev2 жыл бұрын
Hey, usually December to March , and then June to September. We were there around Christmas two years in a row, and last year, the wind was many times on the edge. Having a larger kite like 15m would be a good idea during that time. And from what I've heard June to September should be with stronger winds. Cheers!

Which size kite is best for 57kg in Zanzibar?
@luboyanev7 ай бұрын
Hey, they mostly used a 12m Duotone kite, as the wind usually wasn't that strong, also carried a 9m and they used it a few times as well. Best of luck!
