This was hyped as being a Music Therapy Center for Disabled Kids/Adults back in '90/'91 (before the move). I haven't heard anything about that coming to fruition. If it did & I just didn't hear about it- then that's a good thing. I think it would have been great if there was a Percussion Dept while Bob Steeler was still very much alive & kicking. Wishing on a Star.

E to F is a very Spanish chord shift and perfectly utilized in this very popular composition. Then C to B to F and back down to E. No minor chords used in this song, though its sad vibe feels like it. The gypsy style fiddle on the original studio cut is simply beautiful. It had a powerful impact on me when I was 16 and inspired me to take up the violin as a second instrument. Thanks Dan! You gave us all joy with your lovely music.

I was lucky enough to see Dan & The Hot Licks in a tiny theater in Indianapolis in probably 1974. Close enough that I heard more from the stage than through the PA. He was absolutely one of a kind and has brought me so much joy over all these years. What a great talent.
