below 3p per kWh is great and for 4.5 hrs mining, why not. Have you done a video on your energy provider Octopus and your Tariff? Do you think it's more beneficial/better in the long run to be on a variable rate? How often do you get 'plunge periods' and are they any good/worthwhile. P.s loving the sound of S9J 😅

@@weepz I've got many videos talking about my electricity costs. "Pay Less Mining Crypto in the UK" which is one of my earlier videos will show my setup and rates. Hia buddy, I wouldn't run the s9 from the extension cable as it will most likely get very warm over time. If it was me, I would plug it in the direct to the wall socket to prevent a fire happening. Yeah, those cables on the hash boards are common to brown like that could either be a bad connection or the cables overheating and melting. Could also be cheap cables, not the right gauge (chineese) 😂 cable used. I would get yourself a spare power supply spare fans control board and spare cables to allow you more uptime not having to wait for parts when needed. Happy Hashing Stacking Those STATS 👍

@@mentalmininguk it's an extension plugged in to a 32a commando socket so not as bad as from regular plug mains. The total power that pdu has drawn for days on end is more than it's currently using now so should be fine. But I do want to get in on a separate commando connection which I'm waiting for delivery on the next pdu. Basically buy a second ASIC to part out!
