I expect those calibration certificates are fake. A calibration certificat should have the information of the certification lab which performed the calibration, and not be "signed" by Jenny or John or Jessica. So don't trust the tool if the certificat is not real. Always check it with you torque wrench, and at least you will know it is not far off. You will have no idea if it performs within the 2% accuracy, but at least it won't be 20% off. If you have seen tests on youtube, those only prove that the tested unit is accurate. The next one comming off the production line might not be. Unlike click torque wrenches, these tools cannot be calibrated at home because the strain gauges are glued to the torsion bar. And the electronics inside convert the strain gauge voltage into torque.

Champion! Saved me today. I had lost all tension in my rollerdoor today when my ignorance decided it would be a good idea 🫣 to move the shaft across a bit to make way for a new wall adjacent. I had loosened off both U bolts and everything turned to crap. 😅 I was able to get it all rolled up and followed your instructions to tighten up the tension. I definitly over did it! Couldn't pull the thing down! 😂 After letting a bit of tension go, it is now balanced nicely! 😊 I am half pleased about my stupidity earlier as I have now learnt about how to adjust roller door tension. Actually this may be helpful only if it does not rain , I ordered something like this specifically to go on the outside of the window to prevent the glass from freezing over or to block heat etc .. the problem is that the part that is secured by closing it in the door prevents the rain from drawing correctly and it will pool inside of your car .. do not use this method if rain is in the forecast or you will have to get rid of water inside of your car .. 😢

Thanks mate i used this method on my LC 100 and it worked a treat. Didn't have multigrips so used my stilsons instead. Silicone spray instead of WD too 👍
