Nice video. The only thing I would say is, you want to be using at least a 100 mm x 3mm acrylic twig for it to be safe all of the time, it should also only be 1/2 inch from the hook to ensure you don't hit one of the main arteries which is near to the corner of the mouth. This is particularly important for bigger fish and when using dead baits. You will get away with a braided hook links with smaller fish, again bigger fish will go through it with the wrong set up. The NAC have loads of guidance on safe eel fishing.

On a silty lake bed which is soft, the method feeder may not fish as effectively due to it embedding in the mud . Unlike the pva bag , which will have a softer landing on the soft bottom and fish more effectively.

I’d love an 8ft 0.75lb rod from korum or a pair with the Shadows in 2500 size, that would be magic for Perch and Roach fishing.

effective...but kinda removes the challenge .. . . .all the elastic stick merchants will spit the dummy out if you do too well in a match with it.....

I can't stand Rob Brydon. I know that doesn't seem relevant but his irritating, slimey voice has popped up on every ad-break so far.

They still give out licences to catch Elvers which is absolutely bonkers considering how rare they are and the journeys they have to take to spawn.

So you can try and break your own pb and too look back on the the day you caught it and reminisce about it?
@MrTim207Ай бұрын
Taking pictures is to give you something to remember, to show other people and to look back on. Theres also the artistic elements of photography that people enjoy. Surely you take photos in other areas of your life? It’s the same principle.

You have a point because when you catch an impressive fish , all people do is pit it down and say its smaller than it is.

Made one of these a decade ago with a little float and swim feeder, thought I’d cracked it, I’d get the roach and rid going on maggot then the mud pigs would move in. Thought I was on to something but then found it was a big thing at the time to do something similar with biscuits ect (can’t remember its name) but shows there is nothing new in fishing, some smart ass would have always beat you to it 👍. This method is however great fun on commercials where sitting behind alarms is a bit over kill, it’s summer, they cruising, you can get them really going, nice for those 2hr on way home from work missions,scratch the itch ect
