Looks pretty tasty .... never had chicken feet, but I'd eat any part of a chicken. BTW, you have such a smooth, sexy voice, sounds like you were raised with French as a primary or secondary language. Just delightful....yum, yum.

I use just an electric rice cooker. I bung the whole lot in including chicken, rice, spring onions, shiitake mushrooms and lup cheong, press cook or clay pot option and done. No half cooking or opening and closing. Just simple😊

What’s the big fuss people?! I don’t understand. Chef is simply making CKT in other language: Keoy Teow Goreng. Why everyone is pointing this and that on how he made it, is wrong; no cockles lah, no pork lard lah. That is Chinese CKT. What he’s preparing the other day is simply CKT aka Keoy Teow Goreng. Chill lah! Thank you Chef Sherson for being a good chef for Malaysian. That’s all that matters Chef!😉

Most Muslim's dont drink alcoholic stuff as it isnt halal also this "halal wine" can be used for cooking as alcohol doesnt go away that easy. (Correct me if i am wrong)

@ thats fine and all, but you couldn’t get me to drink wine if there wasn’t alcohol in it, most wine tastes a bit weird until it gets me drunk. Then it goes down like juice, but without the alcohol I would not in a million years drink wine for the flavour

Vinegar might be too acidic. Try Verjus (blanc or rouge) which is more subtle.

tbf, if you go to pasar malam also, you have a choice whether you want char kuey teow with cockles or with prawns. In the end, with cooking, when a dish has become staple to you, you can do whatever you want with it (except do outrageous things lime put nutella in char kuey teow)
