I'm waiting for Sherson to comment on the negative comments. My advice is this, "It's good to be smart, but don't try to be smart if you are not".

Missed out lap cheong and siham. Instead of using the dark caramel sauce which is to get the dark colour only, there's a thick dark sweet sauce made of soy. Not kicap manis...but chinese brand. Some people used it to dip spring rolls, fried carrot cakes also.

To enhance further, you’ll need to add siham aka kerang and use slightly slimmer Kuey Teow. The Kuey Teow he’s using are usually for Cantonese fried aka yin Yong or wan tan hor

To me pad thai & sriracha are over-rated. 😅
@AbsoluteFidelityАй бұрын
@@rosidahariff2365 overrated by the mat sallehs. Pad thai is nonsense, even Kuey Teow Kua Gai is way better, heck Pad See Eew tops the overrated Pad Thai. Sriracha really depends on the brand. The american sriracha tastes very different from the thai ones.

Although you have a national day theme going on here, CKT ironically is one subject that can split Malaysians. Some quarters would call what you made "kuetiau goreng" (notice I didn't use kuey teow because it's not DBP-approved). CKT is wet for these folks. I've read nasty comment before in some forums 😅

It's a huge disappointment and disgrace to fry CKT this way without cockles( siham) & pork lard ( rendering it non halal) as it's originally a chinese stir fry. Btw u can't substitute siham with fish cake..
