The only better base comes from my own homemade base drum. I took a wooden wine barrel, built it into able to hold rims and heads, and put a Crush base peddle on it. The deep base that throws out is the best I have ever heard. I drilled 1” holes on the inside to add more deep draw. The project took me a minimum of 100 hours to complete with the deep red stain with several coats of lacquer.

Good fullness sound with a fat base sound. I’m just not saying this but Crush compares to a 1970’s Ludwig drum set.

Crush still needs adjusting to tune out any twanging Echo. Hardware wise, Crush is right on the money and quality.

I'm just on an ADHD fused drum obsession atm lol. But holy shit this is such a good video. The double hit toms id not have known about. Just thought it was a single one. Then learning about chokes, the double pedals etc. Fantastic video.

Here we are, 2025, a 24yr old with a terminal progressive disease called MD. My hands are curving in and I have always had a passion for drums but my dexterity in my hands I couldn’t get the proper rhythm and I gave up… this has truly changed my prospective, I’ll adapt a way to play the drums

This guy is what us real drummers refer to as a clown drummer. That's why he plays with Shakira no skill required. No real music or groove, will get ripped to shreds with any real drummer with a 4 piece kit.

I'm in 2025, enjoying this masterpiece. Spencer can not only play at 350 BPM, but his creativity is also insane, like using the whole kit while doing a gravity blast. Really insane dude. I don't know who's going to replace him.

having MD421 as your tom mics with this intricate playing is insane, as that particular mic is notorious for sliding out of its clip lol.

The ghungroo is not North Indian it’s just Indian used in 4 major classical dance forms spanning entire region.

One thing I found interesting about what Spencer Prewett was saying, is that you have to find techniques to conserve energy so that you can play faster for long periods of time. I don’t know if people think about how hard it would be to play the stuff Archspire performs, and let alone for hours in one concert. It blows my mind seeing how fast Steven plays. It’s just unreal.

Just wondering about that sample on the second pad from left, upper line on the octapad. It’s so worn out, that I ask myself, what element in Shakira’s music is used that often?

I bought a WMP snare drum. It's a killer drum. Highly recommend one if you're looking for something better.
