Evans Shows Off UV2 Drumheads at NAMM 2020

Get Your Free DRUM! Mag Pack ► pro.drummagazi... The UV1 was a hit when it came out two years ago, and now Evans has made a 2-ply offering. The company showed off its new UV2 drumhead at NAMM 2020. It’s similar construction to the classic G2 head, with two clear plies of 7mil film. It’s tougher than the G2 and the company says it gives a little more low end and punch. It’s available for tom and snare drum sizes. The company also showed off its new packaging, with the new educational Sound Icon system on each package.
