Can you transition from water back to substrate because I got a couple of tiny ones that are in water but I’m not good with water Coulter because I forgot to change it because I have so much going on and I want to put them back in substrate for the ones I have in My bark mossmix does goid but I don’t know if I can fGo from water to substrate sorry about typos I have a broke phone

Do you find ypur orchids do better in medium or water culture (semi or full) in these colder climate with long winters? Thinking about switching mine back to medium. As we have had power outages or events thay happen on winter where my orchids get a little too cold. The last two years my orchids did ok in water culture. But fighting off mold was an issue.

Hi! I have had my orchid growing in water for.about four months now. She looks healthy but all of her buds die and never opens. Any idea why? Should i be drying them out two days a week?

I just bought one from moon light orchids and it had no roots. It was terrible and I don’t know if it will make it,but I repotted it and am hopping for the best.But I will never buy from her again.

I make my own bark. I live in Washington State. I buy 50 lb bags of fir bark at Lowes. I cut it to size and sterilize in the oven at 250 degrees Fahrenheit for 4 hours. No bug or mold issues at all
