Man that's some intense stuff your doing there I just bought a Recon that is stuck in reverse and in the emergency shifter will not budge a bit either way. Any advice for me?

Great videos Doc! I tore my engine apart and now I’m reassembling it. Somewhere I had a larger dowel with an oh ring drop out. I’ve watch both your disassembly and reassembly videos twice and nowhere have you mentioned this dowel. I just don’t know where it is from. Can you help?

My swing arm is striped on both sides. Was welded and I took die grinder and grinded it back flush and the pivot bolts are striped they just turn and turn. I have new bolts in this swing arm bearing kit. So do I blow torch it with acyalitine and put these new bolts in it apon rebuild of rear end. I have swing arm bearings and axle bearings

@four wheeler doctor what abt you ain’t got oil in your air box but the oil ain’t coming up to your valve springs

I recently put shift clutches in my 06 350 rancher and run in this problem, happened to check the air filter for dust because the trail i was on was dusty. I noticed the air box had a litre of oil in it. Found your video and pulled the front cover again, and lo and behold one of the dowel pins and o ring was missing. Thank you very much i ordered one . This should solve my problem. Thanks for posting that vid.

Why do they call them differentials when they are clearly spools with zero differential capacity? It looks like more frequent oil changes would have helped that.

My 2004 Honda Rubicon 500 is making a grinding sound from the rear. I am pretty sure the sound is coming from the differential. The four-wheeler won't move in any gear. What is your opinion on it? Do I need to replace the rear differential?

if you do not use RTV on the base gasket, how do you keep it from leaking ... i just reassembled mine and it leaked like a sieve !! i think i missed the dowel guides ....

Hello. I have a loud ticking noise from a rancher 350 copy. Odes 400. New cylinder. Honda cylinder head and studs. Valve clearance is spot on. But I listened and the sound it from the top end. Inspected it and I got it on video, the exhaust valve opens slightly then drops and that's the tick. I saw ii has a decompression system, but I couldn't find any post on this topic. Is it possible that this system could be stuck? How does it work? Any answer is appreciated before I disassemble it myself. It's my first quad, and parts are kinda hard to find they don't always fit from Honda to this Chinese copy. Found something on aliexpress but without this mechanism. Thank you very much for your work!!

Similar procedure for rancher 420? I literally cannot find a single video about this specific to the rancher. My only concern is getting the damn thing out because I have a 4wd/front diff model. I do have a blind bearing slide hammer but I'm not sure if it will fit.. ugh. I dunno what the hell i'd do without your videos lol. Just know its extremely appreciated buddy
