Over 50 years ago, a good friend owned a 1959 Sprite...I drove it, and was slightly terrified, when I sneezed, and found myself one lane over!...The steering was so tight, it took some getting used to!...My own car-a 1959 Austin-Healey 100-6, did not behave like that!

Brooo this is absolutely sick!! I often search around for the next car I will get online and occasionally something comes into my head like “what about a 4th gen Camaro?”. It’s absolutely not the top of my list because of how impractical it is, but if we’re talking cheap performance I don’t know if there’s a much better value car out there. At first I only considered the v8, but after seeing this video I’d somewhat consider a v6. So I built one earlier on Forza and was pretty blown away by how well it went around the track even bone stock on factory tires. This is exactly the video I was looking for, super in depth destruction of the build and some great clips of driving. Only thing I probably couldn’t compromise on is the v8. I honestly don’t have enough money to go to the track almost ever, so I would need to be able to enjoy it on the street and highway. I think a 4th gen Camaro with the v8, and maybe around $5k worth of mods would be a pretty good sweet spot. Quick, comfortable, sounds great, reliable and cheap to work on, and in a world of BMWs and Mustangs the catfish Camaro is unique

IT'S AN ENGINE BRO, NOT A MOTOR !! It's very simple to remember....... • Engines converts many different forms of combustible fuels to mechanical Force/Energy. • Motors convert Electrical Energy to Mechanical Force/Energy.

Around 1980, I bought a 1973 Midget as my driving to work car. The last model before the bumper laws went into effect. Loved that car. These little cars are the most fun you can have in a car going 45 mph. If you decide to get one, I would suggest these improvements: do a front disc brake conversion; invest in an electronic ignition system. You'll thank me every time you are caught in the rain. Have a professional tune the carburetors, someone that REALLY knows how to do it. Install a horn loud enough to overwhelm a police siren. In a car this little, and the standard size of an American SUV, if you have need to blow your horn, you REALLY want to get the other guy's attention NOW. The standard horn won't do that.

Here's what you can say that hasn't been said much about an MX5, and seems to be missed by almost all reviewers on YT, IT'S NOT A FREAKIN Miata. Mazda dropped the name "Miata" back in the early 2000's, so why do people still incorrectly call it a Miata, which is a horrible girlie name. And I agree with you, "Girl car my ass"! It was NEVER called a Miata in Europe or Asia. It's actually called the Roadster, which is the foundational premise of the car. So the one thing you can say that isn't said very much about the MX5, is that it is no longer called a Miata. Spread the news... Enjoyed the humorous comments, like the factory lift kit... Lol. Cheers. Good vid.

Had one back in the early '70's; BRG , black interior/black top. No mention of the fact that the windshield was so short it required 3 windshield wipers as it wasn't tall enough for only 2. One of my favorite memories is one summer night when I was driving down LSD (Lake Shore Drive for non-Chicagoans) and a guy pulled up alongside us in an XKE and passed my girlfriend a joint.

Words can't describe how much I want one. I absolutely love fast sedans. And this Saab has to be the coolest out there. The design is so manly and somehow sinister. The build quality is great. The engine and drivetrain is superb. It is so hard to find a bad thing about this car. It is a car for people who actually understand cars. The German cars are very good (M3, S4, C63) but this Saab makes them all look ordinary and boring.

It's usually easy to spot an airplane timing cars. Look for a relatively low plane making loops around a section of road ahead of you. You should be able to see them a mile or two ahead of you clearly following the road but maybe off to the side. You will also spot painted markings across the road. The plane times you going from one painted mark to the next one. They are a specific distance apart and a stopwatch will tell the plane your speed.

Great Video man, This may be a stupid question but I am pretty new on this, can I use a 2.5 engine that came from an automatic donor if my mx5 is manual or it does not matter? I was thinking about doing the same swap, but most of the good car donors I find are auto.

I am the proud owner of a 2015 PRHT. I have spent $3,000 on the suspension, b/c I felt it drove like my mother’s Buick! It now holds the line and drives like a dream! Unfortunately, she recently blew her head gasket to the tune of $1,600🤮! I bought her as a retirement gift to myself.

intercooler,550cc injectors or bigger, 3 inch full exhaust and e85 and you should be making around 380-400hp but with the regular saab aero v6 you need the 19t turbo that this turbo x came with from factory

Question is the extra noise coming from the exhaust or does the engine under the hood just make more noise? Just asking because I don't want a head ache on a long drive..
@PetrolHead1 Жыл бұрын
This had a header as well as a full exhaust. You’re likely hearing that noise coupled with slight rubbing of the header on the firewall that was later corrected.
