Very nice layout. I wish I could see it in person.! As far as the overhead led lighting, what I did was use a set of chargeable led overhead. It can really enhance your operating sessions as you can change from daylght to afternoon then evening. The deep blue gives it a moody look, Thanks for the tour!

Very nice layout. You're the guy that made me buy a Walthers MOW flatcar after watching the video. That flatcar is the first I actually made a hole through one end to give it some realism. I even drilled out the weight so the tracks are visible through the hole. Happy New Year from eastern TN

Great video run-down Paul! I'm starting to plan for my wiring, so this is very timely. Do you use current sensing block detection on your layout? I only noticed the optical sensors. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you! I only use optical and IR sensors. Current sensors are great, I just don’t use them because they require wheel resistors. I also enjoy and know how to wire the sensor detectors!

Thank you! Various sources. I have backdrops DVDs and some things like the city of Hartford, I just take off the internet and size them in PowerPoint. Some I photoshop from a mix of pics.

Really beautiful layout. Looks in a state of completion. My only advice would be to maybe use more trees near the backdrop to hide edges of bridges and building flats. It is a well sceniced industrial area. Bravo!

Nice work on the RDC, Paul. Perhaps you could add a small commuter platform on the far corner of the new extension (across the tracks from the MoW siding) and run it from the CSX yard over to there to introduce commuter ops?

Looks like it is a well designed switching layout in confined space. I must say, after watching 1k plus videos (probably more), I have never heard of anyone 'selling their plan'. Had to do a double take as thought was humor. I understand the labor of love etc but this is a first for me. Good luck with that!

Everything is for sale at the right price. I don’t expect takers. I learned to do it myself when I was quoted $300 by a guy to design my initial plan. Hopefully my video gives enough insight for people to copy it on their own.
