31:00 tidal wave was my favorite fight. You can damage his guns and rockets even tho they dont decrease his health bar. If you climb to the rocky atoll he can slam his arm down on you. Shit scared me

Hey bud, some constructive criticism for a small channel. You're really overusing the comparisons to other games/industry trends. For example, "It has Gears of Wars' horde mode" or "It's very similar to Halo 3" Well I haven't played those games, so I don't really know what that means. Another example is "This game's length is about average for the time" Why not just give an estimate of the time it takes?

ROTF was not terrible, 1 to 3 r the best, 4 to 5 is a little stepdown except for prime fighting the dinobots leader

I had the PS2 variant of this game years ago when it first came out and I hated it as a kid cause it was bad. I’ve been looking at buying the PS3 copy because I’ve heard it was by far better than the PS2 copy. This sealed it on me getting it from eBay.

I take extreme umbrage with calling Vicarious Visions a “shovelware developer”

I loved this game as a kid, played it front to back on PS2 and unlocked most of the bonus content. As a kid who couldnt go to the theaters to see these movies when they were new, it scratched that itch to experience the blistering Michael Bay action. But as an adult, you can see the seams of it's rushed creation in just about every aspect, and it's kind of hard to play through again now once you're able to see the jank. There are things about it I still like, but there's just enough missing to make everything feel off.

I have to say this is a great list of RPGs that are accessible. I’m glad other Companies are actually preserving and remastering their games to make accessible now a days in 2024, (yeah I’m pretty much new here) I can’t wait for Dragon Quest 3 HD2D, hope we get more games to be more accessible like Chrono Trigger my favourite RPG of all time.

Regarding those hard bosses, equip their relevant elemental resistance accessories. Makes the fights survivable, specially against elemental infused bosses like the lords of each region.

I’ve been experiencing the fist of the northstar manga and anime and it’s literally one of the greatest manga I have ever experienced especially the first half of fist of the northstar thanks to the new viz reprints. I might one day check out the video game since I love fist of the northstar

the movie is far from terrible

The.DLC was great. Sideswipe, Soundwave, Jazz, G1 Starscream, G1 Megatron and G1 Optimus are all playable including others.

Not many people know this, but you can ram into Shockwave in vehicle mode and it also counts as damage that forces him to transform. You only do this three times before he transforms, and it was generally quicker for me compared to throwing objects at him.

8:52 Time to explain some explainable Bayverse lore. All of the dead decepticons from the first movie were buried in the same place underwater. This means Blackout, Bonecrusher and Devastator/Brawl were revived along with Megatron. This theory is supposed as Bonecrusher is in the middle of the screen when Arcee and Elita 1 die. Devastator/Brawl was in the third movie. (Yeah, I'm not even gonna explain why he wasn't in the second movie)

I used to have this game on the PS2. I was able to emulate it and make it run and look better on a PC. Replaying this game was a joyous time.

I first got into Dynasty Warriors back in 05. Modded Xbox and games were a huge local market. Dynasty and Samurai Warriors are fun series to play in the barracks with beers. I kind of love that if you own several games in the genre, they all blur a bit and you can't remember which games did what.

I automatically said “no.” because I was trying to get back inside and unless I’m in line with you for a panel or I’m asking where the courtland is then I’m not talking to anybody. I’m definitely looking to see if you are wearing a badge also.(I don’t remember seeing one)

Hi! Just randomly found you. I’m 13 minutes into watching. This past DCon was my 5th. As far as badge pickup for me, I got there at 930. Was out a lil after 10 on Thursday. Just based on previous years I assumed/hoped they’d be open early. I was also watching the Facebook group page for DCon because usually someone will mention it.

You can freeze megatron by shooting the canisters on both sides of him. It will take him out for half of the time

This was the first game I ever beat as a young'un. I have a huge soft spot for it and I wanna play through it again someday.

So from my understanding it wasn't Fall of Cybertron that killed High Moon. Apparently after the success of FoC activision in their infinite wisdom decided it would be a good idea to get High Moon to make a Deadpool game because that made sense to them. The Deadpool game from memory (because that's also entirely unavailable) was pretty good but massively underperformed and that was why activision sent them to the call of duty mines.

I wasn't into Transformers games, but I enjoyed this video a lot. This is a really good retrospective of the game, and I am really glad that you discussed the game in chapters based on missions. It really helps the discussion a lot.
