Did you read the Nightow's other manga Blood Blockade Battlefront (kekkai sensen) ? It got 2 anime seasons and the anime's dvd sales were very good in Japan. It's funny how BBB was more successful in Japan than the USA.

I hope this is true, the manga is extraordinarily underrated & the artwork is phenomenal. It's one of the series besides Bleach I really wanted to get a proper conclusion. Imo the (1998) anime & manga are worth experiencing. I agree on how downplayed fma03 gets, I re watched it after 15 + years since I've seen it. It's still an incredibly moving & unique story / characters in their own wright. For me 03 is still my preferred version. I really want this to be true because the story is worth telling on its own merits alone & there is still so much to see & explore for characters that never made an appearance.

There should a remake of trigun for this new generation they only make one movie and that movie with with continuation of the anime hoping that they will rebooting Trigun waiting for the announcement
