I feel like this toy would have been one of the most expensive toys in existence in 1918 as it is with all the crazy parts, and with all the work you put into restoring it, it's even more expensive today!

honestly when i see the background of the rusted and broken trucks it keeps reminding me of that one part in the polar express with all the rusted broken and mangled toys

Its not a same old toy. Its new, "different" toy. Renovation works should be done without exaggeration. (for example: Tires should not have been changed)

You do amazing work, but I have one complaint, your paint goes on so thick you lose detail. You can barely see that says Jeep. Same thing with a Bronco I saw you do and others.

I wish there was a toy truck restoration channel for people who don't have expensive high-tech equipment. I have a circa1952 SmithMiller Mack L Mobilgas Tanker

Man, I just need several thousand bucks in equipment and an ongoing expense account to pull of what he is doing. They are all pretty much put together the same. Have to be careful of not breaking the tabs off and knowing what to look for. Add in the talent and patience he has, and I might pull it off.

Just want commend you on your tenacity, problem solving, attention to detail and of course your skills, no doubt acquired only through years mechanical experience, and frustration. Your proficiency with the CNC machine is to be commended. Access to a full out manufacturing facility, priceless. Few people understand what’s involved in just using CAD much less setting up the CNC. Thank you for your untold hundreds of hours it actually took to set up the machines, design molds, edit, annotate and post this and your other videos. Bravo, well done Master Mechanic! Cheers!

Hey - enjoying your videos... but I suspect your pre-restore toy vehicles are a little physically enhanced (added "weathering" seems to me) which I don't like to see. They are too "artfully rusty" to be in as good shape as the metal is when you remove the crud.

Love this one. Turned out great! Good job.. I just had an idea/challenge for you. It would be super cool if you could take one of these old simple toys and not only restore it but modernize or over engineer it with overkill upgrades like hub bearings, window glass/plexi when it doesn't have it, carpet, bed liner, more nickle plating etc. What sayyou? Challenge accepted? 😊
