In my case this sound due my rear mounting(especially on right) worn out after replacing all mounting and Bump stop(missing) even I've done refurbished rear absober the sounds had gone😊

@@user-xp9mu9ie2h Rough idle and bouncy RPM is a struggle because its not specific to one thing. Could be vanos, maf, vacuum leak and even oil change. Without more details you really need a scan tool to narrow it down.

Probably depends on the type of car. I use to be ocd with alignment. Honestly, if it doesn't feel out of alignment, i dont worry about it.

@@bal4cars after I refurbished my rear absorber at his shop the guys told me that my absorber don't have bump stopped (Sach m-sport models, original from factory) and have top mount kits only

@@nikmohdrostamniksoh4457 Not sure why they said that. Maybe cause it's diesel? and parts are hard to find. The 320i has bump stops, maybe can use those. Without bump stops, a crazy pot hole could cause the absorbers to bottom out and cause metal on metal.

Check your fuel pump that may be the cause of the evap leak. They always crack at the top.

delete your muffler and resonator and I would get a k/n drop in and a mishimoto silicone intake pipe , that’ll help

Those are the hydraulic lifters. Just add a bottle of hydraulic lifter fluid from LM and you'll be gold. I also highly recommend MoS2 from LM, it made my engine run much smoother (no vibrations in the car anymore while idling). I hope that helps some people.

First I check the oil level and changing to liquid moly helped quiet the engine even more. Hopefully it’s not the rocker arms are fuel injectors.

If you want to keep it away you can also add 6 qt of 5W30 and 1 qt of 5W40 Or you could substitute A 5W40 quart with a quart of lucas oil full synthetic. The reason I don't change all 7 qt With 5W40 is it too thick For the venos system

Good idea but I use thicker oil 10w40. Thinner oil leaks but I suspect my oil pan gasket need replacing.

I believe the later model E90s 08-11 have fixed this issue . For me personally it would never go away even multiple times with the Rev procedures . You gonna have to replace the head with the newer updated head on these cars
