Watch this before replacing BMW E90 rear shock

Before replacing the rear shocks we can save some money and headaches. Save some money check your lower and upper mount if you need them. Check your boot and bumpstop if you need them. You may need an impact to remove lower mount bolts if there seized. This is a lower level 3 job with a level 4 tool. Job takes about 2-3 hours

Hi sir...after replacement upper and lower mounts only(not absorber) do we need to do tire allignment?

Probably depends on the type of car. I use to be ocd with alignment. Honestly, if it doesn't feel out of alignment, i dont worry about it.

@@bal4cars one more inquiring sir...why my e90 320d m-sport doesn't have stop bump on -4.24 minutes left(first install new mount on new absorber)😅

@@nikmohdrostamniksoh4457 No problem, dont hesitate to ask. The bump stop disintegrated, the rubber degrades over time. Good luck on the install 💪

@@bal4cars after I refurbished my rear absorber at his shop the guys told me that my absorber don't have bump stopped (Sach m-sport models, original from factory) and have top mount kits only

​@@nikmohdrostamniksoh4457 Not sure why they said that. Maybe cause it's diesel? and parts are hard to find. The 320i has bump stops, maybe can use those. Without bump stops, a crazy pot hole could cause the absorbers to bottom out and cause metal on metal.
