Asknikkos vibe is "I was a victim and now I'm not taking it anymore" with an air of hypersexuality for symbolic reasons. You're just not her main target audience my guy but that's okay too!
@MattsRandomJourneys3 күн бұрын
I mean, sure, but that doesn’t take away from my valid critiques of the album’s hooks not landing, or some genre switch-ups working better than others. Plus, the “you’re not the target audience” argument is very wonky and, honestly, a bit narrow-minded. If I didn’t feel like the music was for me, I’d have either not reviewed it at all, or I’d have given it a “Not For Me” rating (which *is* a rating I have on my scale) and acknowledged that it wasn’t for me. I didn’t do that here because I’ve enjoyed some of Ashnikko’s music, including songs on this very album; the problem is that I’ve just yet to fully enjoy a larger project of hers. Both of her projects have been “okay” for me, but they’ve had enough highs for me to say “I like her music” and stay interested in what she drops in the future. I may not be the first person she thinks of when she makes music (nor should I be), but that doesn’t mean I’m invalid for listening and reviewing because…well, I feel confident in saying that I know what music I like; I live with myself, after all.

It sounds more to me like you just don’t know how to accept a different opinion (which seems odd, given that you talk about being open-minded even though you clearly aren’t). And…what’s with people using this nonsense excuse that if someone doesn’t like *one* (1) album in a given genre, they should never listen to said genre again? Like I know I’m white and all but I barely listen to country/metal, and I love R&B music. I gotta stop listening to R&B now because I didn’t like *one* (1) R&B album? That’s dumb.

She claimed this was going to be a psychedelics influence album. With an edgier sound……. There’s nothing here of that sort! The album itself full of Future Nostalgia left over and an overall underwhelming approach at sounds that feel half baked. Don’t misunderstand me , I don’t hate this one bit! I just feel like what she’s describing vs what we got is 2 different worlds…. The album doesn’t step away from anything that’s been touch before. If you put Dance the night away on here it would’ve made anything different…. It’s a bit unfortunate because she herself set this bar so high and when she’s talking about the albums meanings it just doesn’t make any sense at times….. the positive vibes and the sunny side up feeling is beautiful…… but don’t piss on my leg and tell me its raining….

Well, well, well, here we are again. Your video, as expected, lacks time stamps and any semblance of organization. I already informed you of these shortcomings nearly two weeks ago, and yet here we are. Frankly, it's quite unacceptable. Let's address the elephant in the room, shall we? Smash Bros. Melee? Really? Do you even realize it's a dead game? No one plays it anymore. Smash 64 is the OG, and is really the only game worth praising other than Ultimate. And don't even get me started on your unnecessary history lessons. Who cares about the past? Stick to the games. You didn't even mention 9/11 by name. Do you think saying it is taboo? It's not. Remember and share the stories of 3000+ victims that died on that day. Honestly, you really need to either grow a backbone and some confidence or just keep these videos to yourself. It's embarrassing.
@MattsRandomJourneys13 күн бұрын
Wow, you’re really still here? I mean, I’m glad to see you care so much about me but I really think this unhealthy obsession with me, a stranger on the Internet, is something you need to work out somehow because this is clearly not healthy for you. And I mean…beyond the fact that Melee just had a 1,554-person supermajor tournament in February (lot of people for a “dead game”), what does it matter to you if I like Melee so much? This video is called “*my* favorite games,” so why does my opinion bother you so much? Like I’ve said to you many times before, if you’re this bothered about another person’s opinion, go find another video to watch. Your obsession with me is becoming really strange and uncomfortable, as is your constant, incessant desire to dress it up as “constructive criticism.” Please, step away from your phone/computer for a bit and touch some grass or something because this is really not good for you. Given how much you called me a Gen Z before, I presume you’re older than me but you’re acting more childish than I am. Seriously, I’m not even trying to troll here; I’m worried about you. Your behavior is very weird and it sounds like you need help.

@MattsRandomJourneys This comment of yours is going to be downvoted to oblivion. I hope you know that. You also mentioned TTYD that's not even 2001. That's 2004. What I am giving you is feedback. I'm not passing it off as anything else. It's high time you stop playing the victim and just man up and get better. You post a video publicly. Get ready for the masses to share their opinion whether or not asked for it. Whether or not you like it. You need to take it and stop flaming your viewers for valid criticisms Also, another classic gen z trope: not knowing what a word means. The fact you ask a question. You reply to comment. It proves you're you are trying to get a reaction out of me. Trolls are trolls because they intentionally solicit a reaction or response from somebody else. You're doing that right now. Troll.
@MattsRandomJourneys13 күн бұрын
No seriously, I'm genuinely not trying to illicit any kind of reaction. You're genuinely creeping me out and concerning me with these comments. It feels like you have some strange obsession with me, and it's making me uncomfortable. You think you're helping and giving "constructive feedback," but you're not; you're just coming across overly obsessed, lacking in self-awareness and, in several ways, unable to accept a different opinion. Furthermore, if my video is that "unacceptable" to you...why don't you just make your own? You're on a platform where literally anyone can make videos, and you seem passionate...why don't you do it? Is it because YOU lack confidence and you're projecting your own insecurities onto me to feel better about yourself? Because that's what it feels like, but regardless...yeah, if you chose to make videos on this topic and they came out better than mine, I'd be happy for you. I'm not here for competition, I'm here to make videos that I enjoy making. And I enjoy making videos the way I'm making them, and I'll continue to do so. (Also...I mentioned TTYD because I said that I love the older Paper Mario games? I didn't include it on my actual "best of 2001" list. You were paying attention when watching the video, right?)
@jfitzgerald488713 күн бұрын

@MattsRandomJourneys27 күн бұрын
No, I called “Banjo-Kazooie” a one-hit wonder, not “banjo kazoiiue.” Last I checked, that’s not the name of the game. For someone who apparently knows more than I do, you should at least know how to spell the game’s name. Now if you did mean “Banjo-Kazooie,” well…yes, I did call it that. That’s my opinion. While Kazooie is an incredible game, Tooie was a far weaker follow-up that was emblematic of Rare’s problematic “bigger = better” philosophy with platformers at the time (not as bad as Donkey Kong 64 but still rough). And Nuts & Bolts, while not a bad game entirely, was the franchise’s identity crisis and it could’ve been a lot better. Thus, to me, Kazooie is the only good mainline B-K game. Furthermore, get me “off the stage?” You do realize that, if my video bothers you so much, you can just click off of it and go find another video that suits your interests more, right?

You’re barely leaving any constructive feedback. All you’re doing is trolling and then trying to dress it up as “constructive criticism.” I’ve seen this nonsense plenty of times before. You’re wasting your time. If my video bothers you that much that you have to keep egging on, just go watch something else.
