For my 20th episode of “I Want to Talk About…,” I’m gonna be taking a look at my favorite video games of 2001. Between three new systems and a bevy of excellent new games, 2001 was a fun year to revisit.

Well first off, you don’t have to frame your request like a demand. Second…to where? The “Cream Before the Crop” is arranged by release date order so I can’t move it anywhere else in that section. Unless you meant to move it to my proper “best list,” in which case…no. I don’t think Halo 1 is a 10/10 so I didn’t put it there. That’s my opinion.

Well, well, well, here we are again. Your video, as expected, lacks time stamps and any semblance of organization. I already informed you of these shortcomings nearly two weeks ago, and yet here we are. Frankly, it's quite unacceptable. Let's address the elephant in the room, shall we? Smash Bros. Melee? Really? Do you even realize it's a dead game? No one plays it anymore. Smash 64 is the OG, and is really the only game worth praising other than Ultimate. And don't even get me started on your unnecessary history lessons. Who cares about the past? Stick to the games. You didn't even mention 9/11 by name. Do you think saying it is taboo? It's not. Remember and share the stories of 3000+ victims that died on that day. Honestly, you really need to either grow a backbone and some confidence or just keep these videos to yourself. It's embarrassing.

Wow, you’re really still here? I mean, I’m glad to see you care so much about me but I really think this unhealthy obsession with me, a stranger on the Internet, is something you need to work out somehow because this is clearly not healthy for you. And I mean…beyond the fact that Melee just had a 1,554-person supermajor tournament in February (lot of people for a “dead game”), what does it matter to you if I like Melee so much? This video is called “*my* favorite games,” so why does my opinion bother you so much? Like I’ve said to you many times before, if you’re this bothered about another person’s opinion, go find another video to watch. Your obsession with me is becoming really strange and uncomfortable, as is your constant, incessant desire to dress it up as “constructive criticism.” Please, step away from your phone/computer for a bit and touch some grass or something because this is really not good for you. Given how much you called me a Gen Z before, I presume you’re older than me but you’re acting more childish than I am. Seriously, I’m not even trying to troll here; I’m worried about you. Your behavior is very weird and it sounds like you need help.

@MattsRandomJourneys This comment of yours is going to be downvoted to oblivion. I hope you know that. You also mentioned TTYD that's not even 2001. That's 2004. What I am giving you is feedback. I'm not passing it off as anything else. It's high time you stop playing the victim and just man up and get better. You post a video publicly. Get ready for the masses to share their opinion whether or not asked for it. Whether or not you like it. You need to take it and stop flaming your viewers for valid criticisms Also, another classic gen z trope: not knowing what a word means. The fact you ask a question. You reply to comment. It proves you're you are trying to get a reaction out of me. Trolls are trolls because they intentionally solicit a reaction or response from somebody else. You're doing that right now. Troll.

No seriously, I'm genuinely not trying to illicit any kind of reaction. You're genuinely creeping me out and concerning me with these comments. It feels like you have some strange obsession with me, and it's making me uncomfortable. You think you're helping and giving "constructive feedback," but you're not; you're just coming across overly obsessed, lacking in self-awareness and, in several ways, unable to accept a different opinion. Furthermore, if my video is that "unacceptable" to you...why don't you just make your own? You're on a platform where literally anyone can make videos, and you seem passionate...why don't you do it? Is it because YOU lack confidence and you're projecting your own insecurities onto me to feel better about yourself? Because that's what it feels like, but regardless...yeah, if you chose to make videos on this topic and they came out better than mine, I'd be happy for you. I'm not here for competition, I'm here to make videos that I enjoy making. And I enjoy making videos the way I'm making them, and I'll continue to do so. (Also...I mentioned TTYD because I said that I love the older Paper Mario games? I didn't include it on my actual "best of 2001" list. You were paying attention when watching the video, right?)

@MattsRandomJourneys For your mental health I'll leave you be. But commenting 5 days after your video uploads and having nearly 2 weeks between my last comment hardly constitutes "unhealthy obsession". If you get this amount of anxiety, it's you who should get help
