This movie was basically a precursor to the Expendable franchise of movies that Stallone made after these. The brutality of the kills in this was nothing compared to the action and brutality of The Expendable movies from 2010, 2012 and 2014. You have to check those out if you loved this .

No, he hasn’t been home since the first one. The first one he was looking for his friend. He never actually went home and then went to prison then he went back to Vietnam. Then he went to Afghanistan so he hasn’t been home since the first one not the third one the first one.

I feel like First Blood stands apart from the rest of the franchise. There's no way to compare it to the other movies and it's just such a good story. Now, from first blood part 2 forward, Rambo definitely is the best of the franchise. I'm really curious to see how you both react to Last Blood. It was good, but a lot weaker coming off of Rambo.

When you do Last Blood, the 101 minute so-called Extended Cut (which was the theatrical release in most of the world) is better than the short version. Same ending, but the character development on the front end is deeper.

After the First one this is the second best one IMHO !

There is a Lethal Weapon 5. Not sure if you are familiar with the show 'Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia' but there is an episode where they did a parody of Lethal Weapon and called it Lethal Weapon 5. I highly recommend checking out the parody. It is hilarious. There is an actual Lethal Weapon 5 in the works with Mel Gibson and Danny Glover too. Makes searching for the 'Sunny' version a little more difficult than it used to be.

At least I more prefer this over some martial art movies who the main character fell down from the high without get injury, step in the air, or any nonsense fight who the opponents are stupidly weak.

Sixteen Candles and Pretty in Pink are not awful but definitely not of this calibre. Ferris Bueller is very funny but with good story moments. Dirty Dancing is brilliant if you haven't seen it. For the most cast crossover three of them (Emilio, Judd and Ally) are in St Elmo's Fire with Rob Lowe and Demi Moore. It's a decent story but not like a classic 80s movie. I like Andrew McCarthy so I really liked Mannequin. It's a fun distraction but definitely a lighthearted one.

Directly after watching Rambo 2, you should watch Hot Shots 2 which is a parody mostly on Rambo :D I also love these movies (like you said in clip) with the constant "chase" feeling like after the inital build up it never stops, similar to the first 2 Terminator movies and also Alien 2. James Cameron is a common factor in all these series above.
