"Only work when it feels good." I thought that's how it's sold to new recruits? Also, I feel like I'm the only one who feels like "retiring your husband" sounds so emasculating. I'll understand if others disagree, but I know my husband wouldn't have stood for that. He was an amazing man who was proud of what he did, and would have kept doing regardless of how successful I became.

The tangent was absolutely fine. It's the reason why a lot of the reps push heavily for a "trio" purchase: one machine, one Anespa, and the auto-ship. You basically buy your ranks and if you can be a "baller" to do the "quad" you're thought of very highly: two machines, one Anespa, and the auto-ship. Also, to note, whilst you will never "fall" in ranks in Enagic, you will become ineligible over time for commissions. How? Easily! "Enagic classifies distributor activity based on sales frequency into three statuses: **D1**, for those who have made at least one direct sale in the past six months and are eligible for full commissions, 6A educational allowances, and incentives; **D0**, for those who have not made a sale in six months but have made at least one in the past year, qualifying for 50% of these benefits; and **FA0**, for those who have not made any direct sales in a year, rendering them inactive and ineligible for commissions or allowances. Distributors with FA0 status may re-register under a new position, forfeiting their previous distributorship and group, while Enagic reserves the right to reassign inactive distributorships to maintain the network. These details are outlined in Enagic’s Policies and Procedures, with specific terms varying by region." (thanks ChatGPT for condensing it hahaha) A *lot* of people throw too much money into this MLM more than any other. Not only are they thousands of $$ in debt, they spend even more $$ on the "education platform" (at least they do for The Freedom Era if they're involved with that "movement") and then $$ on Meta advertising. It's not unheard of people waiting months for their first sale. If they wait too long, those "high ticket affiliate sales" they love to push are naught (as I mentioned above).

Multiple streams of actual income is a good thing. Being in multiple pyramid schemes is not that. Running several scams at once while also being a victim of said scams is of course a bad idea. Have a 9 to 5, sell your crocheted knickknacks on the side. Mow peoples' lawns on your off days. All of that is legitimate streams of income. None of us here will ever be millionaires, but we can do multiple streams successfully. MLM isn't a stream of income, it is a scam.

I asked Meta AI if melaleuca is an MLM. Here's the answer 😂 Yes, Melaleuca is a multi-level marketing (MLM) company. Melaleuca, also known as Melaleuca Inc., is a US-based company founded in 1985 by Frank VanderSloot. Melaleuca markets and sells various products, including: 1. Essential oils 2. Wellness supplements 3. Skincare products 4. Cleaning products 5. Nutrition products Like other MLMs, Melaleuca's business model involves: 1. Direct sales: Distributors sell products directly to customers. 2. Recruitment: Distributors earn commissions by recruiting and mentoring others to join the business. 3. Hierarchical structure: Distributors advance through ranks, earning higher commissions and bonuses as they build their sales teams. While Melaleuca has a strong brand presence and offers a range of products, it's essential to approach any MLM opportunity with caution and thoroughly research the company, its compensation plan, and potential earning potential. Would you like more information on Melaleuca's products, business model, or MLMs in general?
@evanjamieson
@evanjamieson 4 күн бұрын
I've been encouraged to join melaleuca by a person that I know in the USA. My biggest concern I told her is that I am paying 30% more as a Canadian because the Canadian dollar is 69 cents per $1 US dollar. Not to mention that Canadian's are looking at 25% tarrifs courtesy of Trump. I explained to her that it's not fair that I could be paying 55% more than Americans and she told me that Canadian's are selling their products with no problem lol. My other concern is melaleuca has the gun to the head sales tactic that you must pay at least $100 a month to stay a member. The client is always the boss, not the company. F@#$ the owner of melaleuca. I want to contact the owner and ask him why he can't have a melaleuca headquarters in Canada? Answer, Canada will say it's a MLM 😅 I could run melaleuca better. Melaleuca is losing new customers everyday because they bully and pressure people to buy their products. I feel sorry for the lady that I know that is working for melaleuca. I've told her that the owner is an idiot and doesn't understand how to run a successful business. I'm not even cancelling my account with them. I have not given them my money or my credit card. We will see if they will send me a backup order for free 😂 Also, I was put on a three way call with melaleuca and the guy says that the call is being recorded and I replied that I have the call recorded too! I have a copy of the phone call. They wanted me to give my credit card number over the fun and I refused.

They run a shady business model. Which sucks because their products are actually pretty good. But Franky boy knows he’ll make more money from selling the dream than selling the products. So gross.
@evanjamieson
@evanjamieson 2 күн бұрын
It's sad because their products look healthy. I did my research. If it was my business, there would be no commission to any customers, but I would allow customers to start their own businesses selling the products, branching out mini melaleuca companies. I would give referall bonuses if a customer referred a new customer by giving them a $100 of free money to spend on their products. Not sure if that business model would be considered a MLM. I just see customers stressed out trying to refer customers because of the MLM pyramid scheme, with the the false hope that they will become rich. I can start my own business tomorrow and by next year I would be making over $100K a year. Everyone has their own talents as entrepreneurs and melaleuca seems like a business opportunity that is leading people into unneeded stress and a future broken heart. Keep speaking the truth!
