I think they mention that they failed at one point because they want to portray that they're so successful now. So the people watching will say, "Oh, she failed? Then me not doing so well right now is okay. If I just keep going like her, eventually I'll succeed." The power of false hope.

Ah, good ole Lobster Wave! Fans of Julie Anderson will recognize this company for sure. I wonder how long ago this call was. Julie showed a video recently where the "CEO and inventor" got up on stage and started bragging about this new water he's "invented" that puts light into your body and, apparently, within 15 seconds of drinking it, light comes out your throat. WTF?! But I noticed that the one woman said she couldn't tell us what the upcoming product was, but now that "water" announcement is available to watch here on YT, so... if it was supposed to be a surprise. OOPS!

Did she really say her father in law WAS on dialysis but because of the patches, he's now off of dialysis? I thought once you;re on dialysis, it's a lifetime thing, unless you have a kidney transplant, and taking you off of it means you don't have much time left. Am I wrong?
@therealsarahjeanАй бұрын
Correct. Dialysis is traditionally used to hold someone over until they can get a transplant. Or they’re on it indefinitely. Her statement is completely absurd.

Julie Anderson has covered this company multiple times. The video you showed left out the truly wacky stuff about the origins of this product (hint: it has to do with lobsters and the Bible).

The ‘science’ behind those patches IS complete bullshit but, to be fair, “organic” and “grown in a lab” are not mutually exclusive. “Organic” has a real definition in chemistry and it means “a molecule with one or more Carbon atoms.” So, yes, two of the components that she mentions: sugars and amino acids are referred to as organic molecules regardless of if they're synthesized in a lab or extracted from nature (referring to 28:33). I digress, I don't know if that's what they meant, maybe I'm taking a bit too scientific of a route when it's MLM-logic we're dealing with. I'm all for calling out the pseudoscience these companies use but just want to point out that that *one* statement wasn't wrong

@hazemazegazeАй бұрын
@therealsarahjean Aw, that is so sweet! Makes me happy knowing my input was appreciated. Thanks 🥹🤍
@kompliziaАй бұрын
Usually they refer to organic as a synonym to natural, harmless as opposed to pharmaceutical or 'artificial' products. I think almost every MLM claims to have 'organic' products or ingredients for this reason. It's a sales trend in general I think. I'm pretty sure they are not talking about organic compounds.
@hazemazegazeАй бұрын
@@komplizia Yeah, that's true. "Organic" as a sales term is quite divorced from its actual meaning in science. Just thought it could be interesting to share that her statement had some truth to it, technically, even if she wasn't necessarily talking about organic compounds. 🤔

Wow girl talk about judgemental. You sound jealous. Is it better to be tied to corporate 10 hours out of the house? They make your schedule and decide what your pay is. I helped raise 2 granddaughters, totally supported myself bought 7 homes then eventually brought my parents in to my home to take care of them. Only because of MLM and my phone. Why don't you applaud women who put themselves out there and have to put up with mean women like you.
@therealsarahjean29 күн бұрын
@@LoriHumbleItWorksformeI was in MLM’s for 5 years and got out with severe trust issues and lack of self worth. I wouldn’t use the word jealous… probably more like concern. And unfortunately, if you’re considering yourself successful- that makes you one of the top .4% that ever get to that. Every person under you in your “pyramid” lost money in the company. Statistically, 99.6% of people who join an MLM will lose money. Luckily- traditional jobs pay an actual wage from day one. And usually no recruiting is needed. Thank you for the comment though!
