Dude my friend just showed me this game and your video and this is so sick! I'm interested in trying out UGC and making content, he said there was a discord? Either way, however I can get into this, I am in awe of the scope of this game! Love the video man that is a SICK room. Love the personality in it.

love the room vibes here! i had that nickelodeon clock too! only just getting into emuvr myself, never had a pc vr til the psvr2 adapter, and now seeing im missing out on the new stuff cause the discord is locked?? Such a bummer, but hopefully theyll reopen it soon 😭

EmuVR question: when i play on the consoles in EmuVR on quest, my left joystick has moving forwards and backwards flipped, do you have any idea on how to change the controls?

@TomDiamond Oh wow I've never heard of that before! Maybe hit up the EmuVR wiki and see if the troubleshooting section can help? Or maybe it's some weird setting on the Quest itself?? 🤔

I managed to hunt lots of UGC outside of the Discord and want to create my room, too. How does one create the books?

@20windfisch11 The books I have in my room (just nonfunctional blocks) are pretty easy and work basically the same way as the colored cartridges. But there is a complex way to make functional ones too which there are entire threads devoted to on the Discord. If you're not in the Discord, hit me up via email and I can get you an invite!

@@imaginator85 I have figured out how to add books for myself in the meantime, there is a tool inside the WIGUX distribution that takes a PDF and makes a book out of it, I tried it with a book from the archive and it worked. Thank you for offering to get me into the Discord, but with the community being the way it is, it is against my principles to sneak in. They clearly don't want me to be there if it is not officially possible to join, and that hard gatekeeping makes no sense to me, even with their explanations to keep the ones outside who "come from TikTok and just ask dumb questions". There is no reason not to offer a download page or offering the UGC as Torrents with locking away the community at the same time. To me that community is an elitist bunch (with some notable exceptions like you) who want to stay among themselves and so shall they. I am not participating in any communities on the rest of the 'net as well, as I have bad experiences with a lot of them and it is too cumbersome for me to find the few good needles in that large haystack.

I did take down the writing tutorials from this YT channel to keep it separate from my gaming audience and since they dont really get any views. I just got a PSVR2 and the PC adapter and JUST found out about EmuVR. Been watching 6 hrs worth of videos and yeah id REALLLY like to somehow get into that server. Why are they gatekeeping it so hard

It's because they got popular on tiktok, then a bunch of kids went to the server asking stupid questions, using slurs, just being dumb in general. They weren't able to vet every new person coming in so first they blocked the discord from new people, then they made it patreon only, and now even the patreon shows a crazy price per month (over $400) and it's impossible to get in. Don't bother asking anyone on reddit for a discord link either, you'll only find snobs who think gatekeeping free content is their life's mission. You can find a couple people here on KZbin who re-upload ugc links, just have to look.
