Had a friend of mine direct me to something like this awhile back before i went on a vacation when we were discussing VR related content and this looks super chill, a nice retro way to enjoy the days of yesterday year and being a 90s kid this stuff is super nostalgic and would love to see ive id be able to keep up to date with this EMUVR if able to, thatd be super awesome to be able to join the discord

Love the final room tour! I’ve been playing around with it myself and found some UCG from your videos too. The only thing I’m still having issues with is the PS1 cases. I have the same jewel cases you do but when I do all the folders, names matching, game scanning, all of it. The case only puts an image of the disc on the case, not the label/insert that I have in the folder.. Can’t get my Pokémon carts to be the actual color either. They are just Gameboy grey…

@@kraftysandwich Thank you for the support! I'd love to see your room as well. 🙂 The PS1 boxes sound like they are pulling from the labels folder. 🤔 Make sure the disc images are in Custom > labels > system and the boxes are in Custom > Boxes > System and that both names match the ROM name. 🙂

@@imaginator85@kraftysandwich I'm having the exact same issue. I triple checked folder names and file names, and everything is correct, but I only see the default canvas cases without artwork. And same thing about the carts not having color. I have the ugc for it, but nothing changes. These are the only two issues I have with EmuVR.

@@imaginator85 I forgot to mention one other issue, actually! So I can't get the 3DS to work. I have a workaround where I stream my desktop from within EmuVR and then launch the citra emulator that I installed separately, but it would be nice if I could play it off the 3DS model itself. Any idea?

Awesome. Got some great UGC in your room. The group is great. As for Team GT he is inhuman everyday he is putting new content out thousands of labels, UGC and his rooms / arcade rooms are looking great he's helped me out loads of times.

Just curious with all your labels, etc, if you have the in-game setting set to high or max? I believe it also says (unstable) but it works great and makes all those labels even more readable, and other things like arcade cab marquees look amazing- like a night and day difference. Also you should really try the quest 3 as well - those lenses make everything look sooooo much better :)

Some of the disc-based systems like the ones you named and PS2 especially have pretty horrible emulator cores. They are sadly just really glitchy. Also, if you have a lot of high-poly assets in your room it can slow it down as well.

Hello i have a problem with the Master System Cartridge Labels, the cartridge model only shows a "Doom" cartridge while the name of the label is the same as the ROM file ( folders names is the same). The boxes files work perfectly. I don't understand why it doesn't work. Can you help me please ?

Thanks for sharing, if you want to have for example longbox dvd and jewelcase for ps2, how do you need to name the folders, or it is impossible to have both type of boxes at the same instance?

I need to get my original xbox games and system to show up but cant figure out how not seeing anything on reddit or anything. Also no one can tell me how to be able to save my games on ps1 and ps2 etc. Or how to get a Vcr and get the vhs files I love emuvr and the nostalgia is brings but I would really appreciate help or links to get help if you have the answers since we for whatever reason cant ask in discord also I remember playing a games called HEXEN and Gauntlet Legends on 64 have both of them Hexen will only load the character weapon but nothing else for me gauntlet legends doesn't show health bar and such or labels.. only game I've got to work with no issue is Legacy of Kain on ps2 and Lawnmower man on snes

@20windfisch11 The books I have in my room (just nonfunctional blocks) are pretty easy and work basically the same way as the colored cartridges. But there is a complex way to make functional ones too which there are entire threads devoted to on the Discord. If you're not in the Discord, hit me up via email and I can get you an invite!

@@imaginator85 I have figured out how to add books for myself in the meantime, there is a tool inside the WIGUX distribution that takes a PDF and makes a book out of it, I tried it with a book from the archive and it worked. Thank you for offering to get me into the Discord, but with the community being the way it is, it is against my principles to sneak in. They clearly don't want me to be there if it is not officially possible to join, and that hard gatekeeping makes no sense to me, even with their explanations to keep the ones outside who "come from TikTok and just ask dumb questions". There is no reason not to offer a download page or offering the UGC as Torrents with locking away the community at the same time. To me that community is an elitist bunch (with some notable exceptions like you) who want to stay among themselves and so shall they. I am not participating in any communities on the rest of the 'net as well, as I have bad experiences with a lot of them and it is too cumbersome for me to find the few good needles in that large haystack.

You have to make sure that the name of the box you're trying to get to work has the name of the actual game FILE, not the folder it's in. For example if you're trying to get Wii Sports and the disc you downloaded is named Wii Sports (USA) then you have to name the box the exact same way.

You have to make sure the name of the box you downloaded is renamed to the exact disc file of the game. Not the game FOLDER, but the game itself. For example if you have a Wii Sports box and it's not working and your Wii Sports file is called Wii Sports (USA).iso then your box cover needs to be called that too (without the .iso though)

What’s you’re graphic settings in game? Do you run it through steam vr? If not how do you bypass it

@@Burnsy8709 My graphics settings are: Supersampling = 1.0, Ambient Occlusion = Medium, Screen Space Reflections = Off, Bloom = 1.0, Label Texture Res = Ultra, Label Text Res = Normal. I connect to my PC with Quest 2 through Airlink, then just pull up my EmuVR folder and run the 'force desktop' application.

Rather have my real room recreation than a room that I never been in. The sega genesis is the only console in early 90s that I had and the 8 bit sega version. The house is no longer there. Google maps have it though.

There is actually music in the room! You can play cassette tapes on the stereo on the dresser. 😀 The community has also made functional books as well but yeah, its a TON of work. Lol
