How many times over the years have I felt this way...when my words fail me, thank you God for Jars of Clay and this powerful song about reaching for hope. Just as powerful now as when it was first released.🙏❤🩹🙌🕊

I wonder if these guys are still Christian. Everyone seems to be leaving the faith lately because of all the hypocrisy.
@KSt22411 күн бұрын
They are still, you dont leave the faith because of hypocrisy unless you had no faith to start with.
@TheManicMan-p6l11 күн бұрын
@@KSt224 How do you know that? If people tell you something is true, and then you find out it was a lie, that seems like a pretty good reason.
@00Anjie5 күн бұрын
Because you're faith is supposed to be based on your redeemed relationship with God through Christ, not on what Christians say. Christians can't be God, we fail, Jesus doesn't. Read your Bible and keep your eyes and emotions on Jesus. Be blessed, friend.

SONG: searching for the TRUTH We're unaware Of our need To fall down On our knees. But what if we Don't have eyes To see How are we Supposed to believe? But what if we Don't have ears To hear How are we Supposed to draw near? But what if we Don't have a mouth To speak How are we Supposed to seek GOD out? But what if we Don't have a voice How are we Supposed to make GOD our choice? But what if we Are denied the truth Who is going to teach us How the Holy Trinity operates and moves? PLEASE SEND HELP.

Rain rain on my face It hasn't stopped Raining for days My world is a flood Slowly I become One with the mud But if I can't swim after 40 days And my mind is crushed By the crashing waves Lift me up so high That I cannot fall Lift me up Lift me up when I'm falling Lift me up I'm weak and I'm dying Lift me up I need you to hold me Lift me up and keep me from drowning again Down pour on my soul Splashing in the ocean I'm losing control Dark sky all around Can't feel my feet Touching the ground But if I can't swim after 40 days And my mind is crushed By the crashing waves Lift me up so high That I cannot fall Lift me up Lift me up when I'm falling Lift me up I'm weak and I'm dying Lift me up I need you to hold me Lift me up and keep me from drowning again Calm the storms that drench my eyes And dry the streams still flowing Casting down all waves of sin And guilt that overthrow me But if I can't swim after 40 days And my mind is crushed By the crashing waves Lift me up so high That I cannot fall Lift me up Lift me up when I'm falling Lift me up I'm weak and I'm dying Lift me up I need you to hold me Lift me up and keep me from drowning again Lift me up, when I'm falling Lift me up, I'm weak and I'm dying Lift me up, I need you to hold me Lift me up, and keep me from drowning again

I like the older version of the video better for one reason: it contains images of someone who looks like they’re drowning. The new video shows images of someone who looks like they’re walking through puddles. Someone who’s drowning needs a savior. Someone who’s walking through puddles just needs to dry off. I think this may have been an oversight. Listening to the song with the new video it just doesn’t come across the same way when it it looks like the rain was heavy. Please I strongly encourage you to redo that video and put back a someone looking like the drowning. It just carries the message so much better. Thanks. I love this song. I had just a short time ago, seeing a post in Reddit, showing an image of someone who looked like they were sinking and drowning, and the comment was: what song is this? Reminds you of? Of course, I thought of “flood” and wanted to post the video. I saw there was a new one, and watched it through, considering whether I would post that one instead. Even though the other video is perhaps not as professionally done as in the new video, I think it captures the lyrics better. Anyway, just wanted to let you know that thanks. And I really do love this song.
