@maciejhanuszczak7102 interesting, i can say a 9AWG cable definitely won't suppress any low end, it could attenuate highs, which in your case you say they are brighter which makes me think the WBC cables are more revealing? Maybe you're hearing how your speakers really sound for the first time haha. Either way, if your ears like the old cables that's all that matters at the end of the day :)

Great video. I just took delivery of my new Exmark Radius S series with the 22 hp Kawasaki FX691V V-Twin 726 cc engine. It is amazing how small the filter media area is on these OEM filters. You think Kawasaki would offer a larger capacity oil filter for commercial use. I am sure there are larger capacity filters that would fit, but there is more to a small engine oil filter than fitment alone. Oh well, I guess I will stick with a Kawasaki OEM filter until I can be absolutely sure another higher capacity filter has all the OEM specifications. On my 2007 Kohler command 22 hp vertical engine I have been using a Stens larger capacity oil filter for over five years and the engine is just shy of 500 hours with absolutely no issues. Until I hear of someone proving a larger capacity filter with OEM specifications is safe to use, I will stick to the tiny Kawasaki filters. Thanks for the informative video. At least the Kawasaki filters look well made, that is a plus.

@@JoeMurphy-x7d not really, you'll just have to measure the holes and diameter to make sure you have enough travel when mounting themto the tractor, also the holes need to match up inside the rail that bolts to the seat, sometimes there is clearance issues and they have tobe mounted upside down so that the lever doesnt interfere with hitting the tractor, there's no one size fits all, unfortunately. best of luck!

@morejelloplease Neat setup for home network rack. Two observations, I noticed no grounding wire for the CATV / RG6 cabling and the bend radius of the RG6 coaxial cables at the center roll appear to go beyond 90 degree angle which will damage the pvc insulator inside and could create RF micro reflections inducing errors into your cable modem. Both deficiencies can cause cable modem errors reducing bandwidth, dropped packets, and increased latency. These are two problems were fixed in my home without cost with the help of my ISP.
@morejellopleaseАй бұрын
Or... coil the cable to act as a choke in a high RF environment such as a ham radio station :) everything is bonded using a single point ground from an isolated outlet. there's lots of stray RF from the shack and no packet loss. only packet loss comes from spectrum. my drop is less than 100-ft coming from a single tap using RG11 direct burial. dBmV and SNR are perfect. There have been some chances since i've filmed this. the 75-ohm amplifiers have since been removed. 73.

It's really a song about losing someone or losing yourself, having inner struggles, torn emotions, fears, etc. And then finding yourself and the eagerness to share your discovery with someone, moving forward without fear, etc. The video snippets in the middle of my cat Mia and my bike ride to the top of the hill are just some of lifes little stress free nuggets that bring me happiness in the midst of all the turbulence on this planet. I've never seen the back of those particular speakers before. You are obviously meant to plug the speaker cable into the top (tweeter) pair, and presumably use the bottom pair when biwiring. Therefore the jumpers only carry the bass frequency signal currents.....so why the need to have the jumpers made of the same cable as the speaker leads? And surely the jumpers do a perfectly good job - they are at least as short as possible! I'm also intrigued by the fuse - obviously as a safety measure should the signal overload the drive units in the treble section - but they are not in the signal path (there would have to be two) so what blows them!
@morejellopleaseАй бұрын
the top pair is the input, the middle is the bass, the bottom is the highs. the top 4 are bonded, so you have to find a way to pass audio to the high inputs on the bottom, either via bi-wire or jumpers. i already used custom bi-wire cables from the same manufacturer, but these cables shown are the ultimate series, higher gauge and non bi-wire so you have to use jumpers. the stock jumpers are zinc coated and cause issues with the highs. if you listen carefully you can hear the scratchiness. the connections on the jumpers are much better. even if they are 6 inches, they literally offer zero resistance so you won't hear any difference , except where the stock jumpers would cut out or cause reduction in level over time. hope this helps.
@rogerwebb7501Ай бұрын
@@morejellopleaseThanks for the reply. Since I sent my question I looked up the Stereophile review and now have a better idea of the layout of the back panel - unusual to have the low freq. input at the top and high freq. input at the bottom! So the main speaker cable feeds straight to the low pass filter part of the crossover, and the jumper carries the treble content to the high pass filter? I now see why the jumpers would only affect the treble. The fuse seems a bit of a clumsy a way to protect the tweeter! My Quad electrostatics (2812) have a sophisticated protection circuit....that I've never managed to trip yet - although I play them at 'realistic' volume! I have the Magneplanar speaker on my list to audition - although they are not seen in the UK much.
@morejellopleaseАй бұрын
@@rogerwebb7501 the fuse does protect since most people try to drive these with crummy amps. they are power hungry around 85dB sensitivity. some of the more higher end maggies have fuses on the mid and the ones with ribbons you definitely want a fuse to protect them.
@rogerwebb7501Ай бұрын
@@morejelloplease Yes, it's a problem using too lower power to drive speakers as the output stage of the amp tends to 'square off' and produce excessive high freq.. energy. I use Quad QMP Elite monoblock power amps that have two current dumpers, bridged, in each that generally never produce anything other than class A at normal listening levels (although they can produce 320w into 4 ohms)...and it would be these I would use for the Magnaplanars - I'm thinking of the MG 20s as there is a pair on ebay secondhand (from a good dealer), do you think they would be OK with my power amps?
