My 2006 Mini Fastrak has the same oil drain valve and it has a hose . Its on a Honda motor I opted for over the kohler .

The ferris 2200 was on my list, never operated one. It was about $5k more than the hustler and didn't make sense. Closest dealer was a tool so I scratched them off the list.

@qteezy6501 That's been my experience with the last 4 dealers. , one of them was OK and the machine was not built properly. The rest of the dealers don't care any more about what goes out the door, and they won't stand behind you when there's an issue. and they definitely won't go to bat for you when they have to contact the manufacturer.

What’s the reason you’re changing the oil, since it’s such a new machine?

The standard break in oil change was around 10 hours for many engines back in the day. They have since removed that in the Kawasaki FX manual but I still do it anyway.

@@morejelloplease yeah you right. I remember back when it was 8-10 hours for the initial oil change. If I’m not mistaken, the Kawasaki owners manual states 50 hours for the first initial oil change on my FX730V. I’m not waiting that long. I will probably change it when the meter reads 10 hours.

I purchased the 2023 fastrak sdx the same unit a month ago, but I have not installed the chute blocker to see if it cuts or leaves grass behind. But so far, it cuts great without the blocker, but now I'm curious.

@Alton Rowell I give credit where credit is due. , people have watched my videos at the beginning and went out and bought hustlers, people watched my videos about the scag and went out and bought scags. I'm dealing with a particular issue that neither the dealer or hustler wants to support, so I no longer need to be supporting them. This has nothing to do with religion.

The dealer that sold me the Leaky tiger cat was a great dealer. It's just that the scag was assembled piss poor along with the Parker wheel motors and the Vanguard missing gasket material. That scag was a hot mess but the dealer did the right thing unlike this new dealer. I couldn't make this shit up if I tried l o l
