Im Tuhoe till the day i die, but that "Im not Maori im Tuhoe" attitude needs to change. We are a VERY proud tribe but we are still MAORI through and through. Plus alot of lack of education and ignorance by our people, but its Changing for the better!

Within one minute, thoughts, it's not a joke, In the beginning commentator presented Ngapuhi with a mock by downplaying the Treaty validity due to it's age. If the commentator could please look into how some of the key differences in the Treaty translation have affected both English and Maori. Outline how each understood the interpretation. Please expand futher on the way the current legislation represents the interpretation and how this positively and negatively may be impacting our NZ people. It is important Kiwi's as a whole body are educating on the topic honestly and with the level of respect our founding document deserves.

To Remember that agreement..the argument has always been power and ownership. Basically we didn't allow to be snubbed out of which caused a dilemma for France, Britain, and America we all know of their history and what was done to the indigenous peoples of a land found. One says if we weren't colonised we'd be still living like savages forgetting their history was just as savage. De colonise this way of thinking and only then will you not feel so threatened by Maori who yes come from Polynesia and all over the world somehow someway way way way back then. We have all done our bit to survive the kluk klan era the genocide era the breed out era now its just that time to know ones right era and we will survive that too.

Mikey, ask your mate on Seven Sharp to have their female Maori-speaking reporter follow up on what KINGI TAURUA endorsed before he passed. It is time for everyone to demand an External Royal Commission of Inquiry into the Flag Referendum Reason As an Ex SAS-trained Soldier, his casket had the Declaration of Independence-DOI Flag Not the flag on his uniform Why That flag became official on 12/6/1902, days after the Boer War finished Interestingly, the NZ BOER WAR Medal has a DOI Counterfeit on it as it was lowered after the treaty Therefore, is TVNZ purposely depriving us and the Governor-General of what was revealed to KINGI about the treaty falsehood?

The treaty of Waitangi was written in English to be translated into Maori, the littlewood version, and it says Maori ceded sovereignty, and by 1865 had sold 93% of the land. Maori want separate government but they want us to pay for it and they want veto rights on every decision. By 1837 you were fighting again and pleaded with the crown for a treaty. The French wanted to annex NZ.

Is that a joke? Maori were not very peaceful people, they constantly went to war with other iwi long before Europeans came. Much of the South Island used to belong to Waitaha, before Ngati Mamoe came over from what is now Hastings, conquered them and took it, only to be conquered by Ngai Tahu

@@antmanatthemoment7233 don't believe everything you hear without doing your own research cus thats what the colonizers tricked everyone into thinking the truth is that maori have lived peacefully for hundreds if not thousands of years until the white man showed up and tried to destroy our culture and way of living in harmony with nature the only reason why we would fight back in the first place was to show that if your gonna try steal our land/freedom/peace then you will have to kill us for it because we always fight against evil the maori have always acted out of tikanga aroha and respect and that's why they've tried to wipe out my culture and people to stop people from knowing the truth

I am also nga puhi I am related to the chief hono hoke who cut down the British flag pole after the British broke the treaty of waitangi our people were very connected to nature and could sail anywhere on the planet in there wakas using the stars currents winds animals and other natural & spiritual techniques to navigate they were masters at agriculture and architecture carving and all survival skills they co existed with giant forrests mythical ancient beings fairys giants hobbits and spirits of the forrest we would sing ancient forgotten waitas that all had deep spiritual meanings behind them we were very peaceful people and lived peacefully for hundreds to thousands of years we knew every single plant and what they could be used for we were friends and could communicate with all our ancestors animals creatures and probably plants It is described and passed on by the maori that we were not the original beings of new zealand and that there were already creatures such as the moehau patupaiarehe Taniwha turehu maero pakepakeha & lots others 1 of the most important things in our culture is the concept of tikanga and tapu Tapu meaning the sacredness of something such as the rivers and the water we drink the earth materials and life on our planet etc and tikanga in short meaning the right/correct way of doing something and the importance of always doing the right thing

Absolutely right bro!real Maori doesn’t have drugs n drinking.think Parihaka was good example of dat.n I remember the elders always rangimarie!apparently the dads looked after their male children too,I think that would be much better way too.nzders could have benefited greatly from the Maori way of doing things if they had of honoured the treaty.we had it many centuries.they only had it 2,now the waterways n land getting polluted.don’t let anything rest so resources get exhausted.greed n power.not looking after the land and resources that are the very thing that sustains us.n not havin respect for those things that do maintain us,that god gave freely to mankind. He is the guardian of the earth n animals. Maoris are a spiritual people. And despite what pakeha think we have always continued in our ways, despite ur aggressive ways and greed n injustice against our people.just because u stuck a flag in the ground n built u a beehive and continue to bully ur way around our country, does not mean we stopped being us.there has always been two ways of doing things in this country. But as usual, tauiwi too arrogant to acknowledge coz they think know better and becoz we r the biggest threat to their power in this land.they are afraid,n don’t wish to understand.(think probably should of wrote this on last one,2nd one I think ?when that stupid old white thinks we would be lost without colonisation?wt*,typical arrogance of his type.give me the pa any day! PROUD TO BE MAORI!

A declaration from a legislation signed by the chieves of the many different confederations in Association to the rights of our nation which became an illusion like the figment of our imagination that caused so much confusion without any explanation' or for that matter documentation for confirmation to share with our generation it would have been great if backed by illustration as a form of persuasion so we know where we are heading and in which direction especially so to all denominations (churches)without a recommendation or even conversation about their intentions of preemption as a solution or not coming to a resolution giving our people options like a dobsons that we only see expropriation which means confiscation especially in these times of recession back by oppression without any chance of renegotiation that should be brought to the attention of(who) New Zealand's population of the intimidation as well as manipulation of our own sovereignty an constitution to why many got voted into those situations to those very positions(why) to make the right decisions like our ancestors did in their generation without the realisation what it has done to our nation of the illegal authorisation of the many laws and legislations they haven't been honoured or even resolved let alone shown or even being told without feelings of remorse taking from the people whenever they pleased of course bow dressing one's wrongs by force no being a friend or a mate or allowing us to be an independent state so with the constitution full of false illusions delusions is a game id play that will show destruction to our dismay that will leave an everlasting impression we will see everyday of one's transgressions everyday

To the Rich and the Powerful to them that's ok no step up the people have a say change what's going on in this country today like the drilling an the mining we see and we hear the government's been doing it for so many years to why we the people share because we care we will dare to be fair for all to be aware which is rare like the spirit of our father upstairs who declares whats good and bad can make one sad but in this case it makes me glad to know that if you go against the grain in vain there is an anger that's released thats so insane that'll make as well as create the biggest and largest of all earthquakes that the spirit of the land is the blood( thats called genealogy) to why these countries are having so many floods so I guess its a matter of do or die don't sit there but give it a try like our ancestors did in 1835 by signing a declaration of independence te called whakaputanga
