Awesome harvest Mark I need to check on my broad beans and see if any can be harvested. Fresh fruit is so good 😊 I just had a strawberry 🍓 and a few blueberries 🫐. Onions are doing well too 🤭🤭 so are the garlic. Doing a great job Mark keep at it, Ali 🌞🥵🫠🇨🇦

I put my bush beans seeds directly in the ground. It should be ok to plant those out.

It’s looking good Mark. Your sweetcorn looks particularly good. Not sure how accurate this is but I’ve heard/seen on other KZbin videos that B-road beans are ready to harvest when they start pointing down. I’ve never grown them so can’t say for definite.

Make sure you don't wash the spuds until you're going to cook them. Nice harvest. You could plant something else in one bag of you add some nutrients to the soil. I have to use only containers, so I do reuse as much as possible.

Another plot holder got some manure that has a herbicide in it. Anyone who offers the plots manure MUST be asked if they use chemicals on their pasture or where the animals were. Unfortunately the herbicide commonly used to control weeds is very harmful to the vegetable plants, and it stays for up to 3 years! This year has been very poor for most gardeners. It's been soggy, cool, cold then warm for a few days. Warm weather crops are struggling. Wishing the people who are plot holders some decent weather.

Hi Mark (and others thinking of doing this job) remember coats of Garden Shades need to be done within 2-4 hours after the first in normal conditions. If you leave any longer, the wax content sets and you'll notice the second coat will look like you're trying to paint water over oil.

Love your shed even after 8hours ,you will accomplish much..by the way, what's the cost...

We are due rain tomorrow but that’s ok because I’m already scrambling to water things, it has been high 20’s to 32c for days. Sounds great but it gives me and the garden no time to acclimatize. Another plot holder used "sour dough" starter, basically flour and water left to ferment as slug bait. They got a lot of slugs after smearing bits of cardboard with the paste. The cardboard was either thrown in the compost or trash bin. Slugs and weeds have one commonality, the more gone the less work.

I've perched the brocoli white eye, and the long island sprouts to try this year. I'm putting my broccoli down the side of my plot.

Potatoes look great Mark 👍. Like the mini greenhouse they are so cute. My cucumbers are leggy 🤦🏼‍♀️ so I may have to redo them. Glad the tomatoes are doing so well, I lost a few but most are great and I’ve actually put them outside 🤞🤞. Plot is looks fantastic and can’t wait to see the greenhouse full of things. Lovely to see it’s not raining for a change. We got super high wind (50k) yesterday and a bit of rain but back to hot and sunny 🌞. I chanced it and put out chard seedlings yesterday 🤞. Potatoes getting fleeced here nightly. Will you use the old greenhouse frame over the brassica bed with netting? Getting lots done Mark 👍, have a super week, Ali 🌞🥶🇨🇦

Such a cool “seed club” Mark and again I really like the detailed information that comes with them. We love edamame steamed in the pod and then popped out of the shell and eaten.
