Ryzeal is really only dominating the OCG because they have Artifact Scythe there, they get so carried by it.

I just don’t think any deck should be able to have their main phase directly inside their battle phase at that point what is the point of a main phase and battle phase if they are not separate.

I think Maliss has more potential because the Cyberse type as a whole is inherently capable of doing more unfair crazy things, even when playing outside the context of what the main deck engine is "supposed" to do. It's more flexible to play through/around targeted techs

I really don’t agree with you, especially when you talk about eventually who’s the better deck nib and lance is insane against Malise Rizio can search all artifacts especially lance, maxc or bird them, they just lock your extra deck Also the power of playing pot/floodgate, Sure malaise can make bigger endbord but what if you can’t continue to make your game?

Maliss is a combo deck, so many will enjoy it more it is weaker than Ryzeal and will stay underneath unless post the newest set has support that is gnarly, also no Apollo really will come up.

I've been testing maliss and this is incorrect, imo. The bystials are good but not needed. The ryzeal deck is going to be a good starter deck for a lot of players. It's kinda like yugioh is in a reset rn.

Ive been using a toy box engine in Ryzeal. It lets you play through so much. You can set up the traptix xyz and the galaxy xyz before committing to your actual Ryzeal stuff.

d barrier is only super impactful when going first but lancea bullies decks going first and second so i think Ryzeal will be better also in maliss isnt it better to play called by plus thrust so you can grab d barrier and turn skip

Post-Alliance Insight it should be a pretty clear push for Maliss with the @Ignister/2300 Atk Cyberse support. But in the short term prior, it is easily Ryzeal for the search consistency to find Lancea (Small World/Seventh Tachyon)

If ryzeal does get as popular snake-eyes , do you guys think that ashened dragon card that pops field spells will become popular (veidos- I think that’s it’s name ? ) Also if I’m not mistaken , I’ve played ashened a few times and I think it could synergies with Ryzeal archetype pretty will. Since the ryzeal boss monster is a pyro

Think both these decks are highly overrated, especially ryzeal. You guys are forgetting that snake-eyes is still playable in TCG and we don’t have MAXX C that alters environment. As to which one I’d prefer picking up for myself , I would get maliss. Not because I think it’s better then Ryzeal. Only because I see so much more potential in Maliss with future support. They just need some type of link 1 monster that lets u revive a monster from GY. So u can go into splash mage and into link 3 Maliss under lancea.

Maxx c doesnt alter the environment. It just wins the game no matter what is being played. The same decks that top in ocg are the same decks that top in tcg.

There have been several decks that were good over there and bad over here (Phantom Knight Adv was dominant there but genuinely hogshit bad over here), or bad/not played over there and good over here (Unchained, several Runick combo variants, etc). Now we can debate how much of that is just Maxx "C" (that is, a deck's capacity to respect it), how much of that is other cardpool differences, how much of that is a difference in general player and tournament philosophy, or simply how much of that is OCG players not catching onto and latching onto everything possible as a collective, but the TCG and OCG are definitely not 1:1 To look at the OCG as just our format but 3 months ahead in every single instance is essentially just giving yourself licence to not have to think critically about any new release and how it could exist in the context of our format. It's lazy, and so *everyone* does it (it's honestly getting to the point where ROTK could, if they wanted to, perform a psyop where they make a fake pie-chart after a new set release with a contingent of willing OCG players posting fake decklists that features a new archetype that is remotely passable as competitive as taking up 50% of a metagame and people would just eat that shit up blindly)

Ryzeal is and will be better. Lancea, chaos hunter, other spells and traps that can prevent banishing. I sincerely hope you’re wrong but the writing is on the walls.

tearlaments had more checks and counters than spright, and it ended being the better deck. Something it doesnt come just to that factor. That being said, we are going to see a repeat of 2013 (rulers vs. spellbook format) where the better decks will be heavily countering each other and those counter that are being more consistent might have an edge.

@@brittis_n3xus True but Maliss is the second coming of Tear ATM unless in the new set they get some bat shit crazy support. It is fine but No Apollo hurt it bit, Ryzeal isn't flashes but it is pretty mighty.

I think malice is worse than ryzeal because lancea. Ryzeal can search lancea easy and in febrery it will be more easy.

I‘ll leave something here for u to test or ignore. Veidos is broken if Maliss and Ryzeal will Both be top Meta. Paired with Nib and/or Ogre it checks both decks. Think about it.

I’m not convinced yet that either will be top dog without ryzeal having 7 tachyon and without a banlist checking the fire decks. Fire king azamina smokes ryzeal and maliss HAS to open shifter to even have a chance.
