As a lifelong Striker enjoyer, seeing Ryan work his magic reignited my enthusiasm for the deck and I finally broke my core out of its box to resleeve and start rocking the deck again. I'm not a quarter of the duelist Ryan is, but it's nice to see he adopted the exact same strategy as me (all spells, no HTs) as well as almost identical lists. My lone issue is managing my Link-1's in the grind so I maximize Shiz and Hayate and forego the charmers at the cost of potential damage output and opting for 2 Multirole since it demands an immediate response at bare minimum. Once you're in control of the game, making Accesscode is a breeze anyways if need be, but hey I'm no master so it's just my perspective

Yoooo let’s gooo. For the sequencing, is there a reason why you wouldn’t want to generally lead with things like upstart or desires to put spells in the gy to get the extra effect off afterburner and/or baiting out negates ?

I was also thinking that too for the dragon link scenario specifically, since they didn't have any negates up so theres no risk. not to mention wouldn't you wanna see what cards you draw to subsequently sequence cards in a more optimal way.

If you make them go 1st, and the first card you activate in your turn is Upstart/Desires, most probably they'll know immediately you're not playing Tenpai. So, the longer you can go without revealing information, the better.

Droll might hurt you there if you're trying to resolve Engage as well
