People are going to hate because your deck is different. Not my cup of tea, but I like that you attempted to take a different approach and inspired some other ideas.
@digiv3nomАй бұрын
No, bro. I don’t think the Tenpai cards are going to work out to be as good for tuners as you imagine. You’ll very quickly realize how important Dis Pater is for the deck, and the rokkets are simply superior when you trying a combo build. And not maining ash cuz it’s not like or dark… but choosing Tenpai over rokket? Main the ash. Please.
@kazzygo3259Ай бұрын
he said it is a 1 card dispater…
@digiv3nomАй бұрын
@@kazzygo3259 yes and I see how but it’s so shit. Your normal summon of paidra becomes dis pater with no lights or darks in grave or banished for the dis pater to summon. Lets say you more ideally open black metal and summon the paidra from hand with redmd, even then it’s just so incoherent. Tenpai cards don’t help dragons do link stuff. They don’t combo. The engines don’t work together.

Ya this def looks like a list from someone thats not super experienced with dlink in large scale tourneys. Rokkets and tenpai cards dont replace one another unfortunately. Wish they did, but them not being light/dark means theyre not bystial targets for extension.
@GG_YGOАй бұрын
I think they provide a different utility
@SnowYugiohАй бұрын
@@GG_YGO yep definitely, they just dont synergize very well with the rest of the deck - at the very least not as well as rokkets for a tuner/synchro engine. Definitely take the time to test it out some more and i’m sure you’ll get what i mean. As a long time dlink player, always happy to see ppl trying out new things.

I played 60 card Dragon Link Tenpai at a regional, and I really liked it. The problem with using those cards as replacement Rokkets is that they don't function the same at all. If your Paidra gets Veilered you can't just link it off into Striker and summon a bystial. You also lose a ton of value because Boot and Quick Launch are great extenders. I played both the Rokkets and Tenpai cards fwiw. I also don't think Fullmetal is as good as it's being hyped. Neither it or the trap are starters or extenders, and in a a deck full of potential bricks, it just adds to non games. I think it's best application is going first being able to search it if you get Fuwalos-ed, but that requires you to go first and draw Black Metal + a Bystial. I wouldn't be against siding it when I go first, but it's so bad going 2nd I don't think I would main deck it. I'm also not sure how I feel about Thrust because one of Dlink's biggest strengths is layered interruptions using Regained to draw handtraps.
@digiv3nomАй бұрын
Nah, Fullmetal feels great. It’s not any sort of extender, but it’s a searchable Omni negate and big beater. The first match I played it, the card simply won. It felt like having savage back but this time with some protection and not limited to 2 or 3 counters. Def wouldn’t main it cuz going 2nd you need gas to push into boards. Do love siding it along with other thrust targets tho.

The fact that people are even considering fullmetal kinda shows the sorry state d link is in right now. The end board pieces D link has access to right now are that bad, and its not like the deck was particularly good before the savage baronne ban either, even then it still leaned heavily into bystials for its end board.
@HeadGunter343GSАй бұрын
I'm with it, if you lean a little heavier into synchro you could call it dragon synchro and have it be a new deck too. Lots of really good dragon synchros out there

Do we have ways to make Varudras reliably? I’ve thought about overlaying a ten plus Dis Pater into a Varudras with Regained up, sounds very layered and tough the beat.
@one_mobile_gaijinАй бұрын
Before the new Red Eyes was released a Combo with Varudras was a standard Line in D-Link. Would even go as far to say that you can still play it with the new Red Eyes, the LaD Dragon Fusion alao became a neat Tech thanks to the new Darkness Dragon, who can fuse itself with Lubellion

I like seeing tenpai used for something a bit more involved than just going second otk, but for me this feels a lot less like dlink simply because of the absence of borrelend, my lizard brain likes that card too much

I am noticing the side deck become even more cringe than usual... Not a jab at you in particular GG, after all we play the cards that win and we never hate the player always the game. It's just an observation in general that everyone seems to be on DDG/D barrier/Thrusts in the side as a result of shifter/fuwaross existing to essentially turn skip the opp back when these cards are dropped on you. what is yugioh becoming man...
