Should I use this thing? I already brought it so im not sure what to do with it. Any advice on this, im a long range guy.

I love playing this mech with 2 Proto AC-8s and 4 sml lasers. It also works with the AC-8's and 2 plasma cannons.

The Pretty Baby is a wonderful mech! Dual Mrm40, 2 medium lasers, just run people down with your ridiculous speed and durability and blast em with low cooldown cold 90 damage alphas. Is the geometry completely awful? Yeah, but nothing is scarier than getting charged by a Pretty Baby that doesn't even fear the IRS.

7 years later and the hit reg is still shit and Match maker is broken

my tier level doesnt move at all when I do a formidable match (win/6 kills/600+ dmg), but it lowers a lot after a normal match.

the current PSR sucks worse than this one. You can never really leave your :"tier" regardless of how well you do in your match

The obsolete Stalker is good to snipe old Atlas. And it is good as escort of an Atlas. Not the best for future eras, but for Clan invasion it was top notch.

you have found a funny config. you can use all at same time and delivering a decent dmg when you are exposed to enemy fire.

if you want going up just do a lot of damage, and don't expose your mech. If you play for wining or like a team player you should not grow up your tier. For example, If you advance the first for catching enemy fire and left your team wining, the ususal if doing a great work, but MWO judges you as a bad player. It's frustrating be holding the fire alone of several mechs, left the team wining, but do few dmg.

Double light gauss are nice and can be used on several different builds. I got them on a highlander also .

I really like my d-dc setup with 2 rac 5s a d 3 mrm20s it is warm but seldom do things want to face you and will often turn and run ussualy cored and 1 touch if at all.

They are not taking in to account on games like conquest where a fast mechs win the games buy capturing bases but does not do a lot of fighting. If this is going to stay the ways it is WHY should be play conquest. They may as well take conquest out and put incursion back in.

i have found the la saber build to be nearly useless , the best build is the one with the 7 laser hard points , but its legs are weak , in skill 4 and up weak af , skill 5 down , its rulles the battle feild . i think im running mostly is inc 2 or 1 , i run 2 large lasers , heavy or C-er , 4 machine guns , to combat other lights , arrmor to the front . i get 400 on crappy days and 700 - 1000 on good days

have you tried er larges and heavy mediums? give you a long rage ability and the heavy mediums bump up the damage high as hell...

I wonder how this mech would fare with 2xHag20 with XL200 in this new patch.

incase anyone new to the game watches this video it is outdated almost all if not all of these mechs are good now.

I use dual Gauss + 1 ER PPC... gives you a 100% snap fire, and ability to twist/spread any return fire upon taking your shot on target... You also get matching cooldown times on the ERPPC/Gauss... ERLL just has to long of a burn time (too easy to spread with twisting) for my playstyle to use in any of my builds... I also use the 340 XL, but only slot 1 DHS.. it runs cool enough to not need 3 slotted or extra ones placed anywhere else.. I do pad my slots with 1/2 ton gauss ammo to counter any crit hits taken (19 slots used), plus a TC Mkii..

I love how in 4v4 legging/disarming a mech has actual impact on the match compared to 12v12. Wish pgi and the community would open their eyes to this

if i can get 3 kills in a match and destroy a bunch of components while also do objectives, team loses and my psr goes down..... the new system is broken and bad. if its "PILOT" skill rating, then why does the performance of my team affect it? broken trash system....

Its a so-so mech/build. The UAC20s are so bad at hitting anything, that you have to be close and aiming at something slow, which usually means something heavier than you with 40-50pt alphas who can tank your shots and cripple your torsos quickly. The only time this mech shines is when you are not getting looked at and can triple double tap to your hearts content....until you jam. which happens often sadly. (edit: these days most mechs are harder to kill with so many armour and IS quirks so ammunition is a concern, you simlpy need more of it and some slas as backup too)

That atlas is eligible for stealth armor

I have 2 mechs on the stalker chassis. The first one shoots 6 heavy lasers without penalty, not as good as I would like, but I won't say that it's bad. "Ears" are often demolished, this is a big problem of this chassis. The second SRM boat, a very cheerful melee mech, pumped it very quickly. Probably one of the most fun assaults that I have.
