John it appears that you have the left smaller mounted tom tuned LOWER than the middle tom. if so students might not figure out how you are getting the descending tones without having to cross over.

As a marimba player who has moved over to the drums and totally self taught on them, I can honestly say this series of videos are the most useful thing I have ever been shown. Le phrasé entre l'exercice 2 et 3 n'est pas le même. La preuve, il est impossible de passer de l'un à l'autre sans modifier le tempo. C'est possible en revanche entre le 1 et le 2. On se dispensera de perdre du temps avec cette leçon.

Thanks for sharing and great lessons. I have one suggestion if I may... Try only accenting the AND a 2 on the ride cymbal vs. Accenting the 1 and a 2. It's a game changer.
