Great collection and you are clearly very knowledgeable about the knives you own. I just picked up a McNees Mac 2 3.5 in frag pattern which is really cool! Thanks for sharing!

Is that version of the Protech Oligarch in Titanium or is that one of the ones in Stainless Steel? I remember Dave from Protech was pretty excited about the Steel handles they were able to make for some of the knives. Also is there any particular reason you sold most of the Hinderers? I haven't found many that I was really interested in untill recently when Hinderer started doing Hollow grinds on some models.

Yeah that oligarch is the version with the stainless steel handles. I use to have a lot of Hinderers, but ended up selling them off to buy other knives, I still love the XM-18, but only feel the need to have one now.

I have always had my eye on that Bugout with the aircraft aluminum and M390, but I'd want to swap it out with the S90V blade from the CF Bugout. It would be a PRICEY Bugout build

That would be a sick build, I do like S90V better, I think the aesthetics of this one win me over

You could sell just one of those and get a fancy, perfect laser cut foam insert.

The foam holds more knives than the lazer cut inserts though

Great collection. Thanks for the look! I wish I liked Quiet Carry as much as you because I'm sure they are great, but the thinness of the handles has always put me off. I know that should be a plus, but it just doesn't sit right with me for some reason. Silly little nit pick

Knice! collection brother….you convinced me on the Watu and the Police. Loved how you mod them after. I too prefer bronze washers over the years. I’m looking for Watu aftermarket scales right now. Last thing what kind of clip is on the Police 4 LW? Happy Holidays, Always a pleasure to watch BC…🫡🇺🇸💯🔪

How is the bracelet on that Citizen? Looks really well finished. Also how is deployment with that gear style flipper on the Ikuichi?
@bladecentered2264
@bladecentered2264 10 күн бұрын
The bracelet works pretty good, it's not as flexible near the lugs, that's the only complaint I have about it. The Ikuchi is a very unique knife, the wheel works for me, but if I hand the knife to my adult son, he can't open it at all lol

I got the same exact one I love it I was looking at Cobra Tech and a few others but came across this glad I did I would like a more heavier duty but I did not just getting a Milwaukee Fastback for that a titanium version what obviously be my next choice how hard using it like when you have to put more pressure you probably have to be pretty careful not to move that handle back and forth

This is the most intriguing boot I’ve seen in a while. I’m a fan of Western styling but don’t enjoy how one dimensional a cowboy boot is. This is appears to blur the lines between a Western style and a dressier style boot.

Military 2 for me, all the way. SPY27 strops back like no other powdered steel I've ever used. I have a knife in SPY27 that I've sharpened once, more than two years ago when I got it, just to set my own edge angle. Though it ends up in my rotation regularly, I have not had to sharpen it yet, and it gets used on pallet straps, cardboard and common EDC stuff, including light edge impacts on a cutting board. Some fine diamond paste and a strop has always brought it back to screaming sharp. I'm sure I'll eventually get some edge damage that I'll need to sharpen out or it will get enough extended use that a strop won't hack it, but it hasn't happened yet. All that said, I suppose the choice comes down to expected use case. While I'd expext a great many of my knives to double as a defensive tool in an oh-crap scenario, and I'm sure the M2 would handle it, but clearly the Recon 1 is better suited for things like defense and hard camp use. Note: When home, I do strop any knife I've used at the end of the day.

Cool knife. But knives that big, and assisted opening, are illegal in some places. Also M4 is high-speed-tool steel. it probably holds an edge well but it might be too brittle for blades. CPM 3V, CPM 4V, or the new Magna-Cut CPM super stainless would probably be better.

This vid immediately made me go to my bathroom counter and thwack my xm24 bowie, lol it was fine, i knew it would be. For any on the fence/ the haters: Years ago i talked with a guy online who shared my exact thoughts on many things knife related, and i asked him what his fav edc ever was, he said the Hinderer XM's. I had never liked em because of that stupid f*n plastic scale, makes em look cheap. Said to hell with it and got one a while later, loved it ever since, one of my fav carries. Highly recommend waiting for an XM24 vs an XM-18, the ergos are much better. I have beat on mine and its fine. Just remember you gotta sharpen it at 20-25⁰ exclusive, aint gonna take no Spidie angles lol, and get a thick aftermarket deep carry clip off etsy, the Lynch ones are trash. Never ever thought I'd love a Hinderer as much as i do. Hopefully Joe X tests one down the road 🐴

If you depress the atlas lock, will the blade deploy like a auto?
@bladecentered2264

No because it doesn't create the detent for the knife, the springs do
