Thanks for taking the time to make this video. The big problem with the Milwaukee is its well-earned reputation for lacking durability. I'm a team Team Red guy. Milwaukee makes fantastic kit. That said, the Milwaukee Switchtank is the worst tool I've ever owned. Multiple leaks and outright failures. And when it is running, the white plastic elbow has a screen that clogs constantly. Milwaukee was great with regard to customer service. They replaced the unit twice and tank three times. Just called and gave the serial number. Eventually, I had enough. Bought a Typhoon 3. Night and day difference. Anyone who is considering the Milwaukee needs to read the reviews on Home Depot, etc. Total POS.

Helps a lot. One of my yards is huge. I recall refilling 6 times with a 4-gallon pump. Attaching the sprayer to mower seat really sped up the process, but I wished I had battery a powered. I also pressure wash and familiar the quick connect. The top handle does make a difference. So does weight, especially if one is walking up and down hills. Thank you for the video. Appears my final choice will be in the $300 range.

I had a 13 year old English Bulldog (RIP Boozer) he would only walk just off the concrete off my backporch and pee in the same area for about two years before he passed. Killed all the grass. I put the grotrax down and it worked great. I think the trick is you have to water the $h!t out of it. It worked great for the small area he ruined, roughly a 4 x 10 area. I saturated the area daily and I blocked the area off, so no one walked on it.

Should probably start bagging if you are just growing more grass than can be broken down. But I’d think likely your problem lies below the surface. Probably a lack of worms. The extra grass isn’t stopping nutrients or water.

As old grass clippings break down, it does provide nutrients to the soil as compost. Also helps to trap moisture in the soil, so it doesn’t dry out as quickly in the heat. May depend on the type of grass that you have though. I’m speaking with experience from St Augustine and Bermuda.
@Brettsgrasscapades
@Brettsgrasscapades 22 күн бұрын
@@kevinhorst7525 that is certainly the case in situations where there is not excessive build up like there was here. Healthy small amounts are beneficial but when it's excessive like this it prevents the grass from taking in nutrients and growing correctly.

@@Brettsgrasscapadesbefore winter sets in we take the clippings and leaves we've gathered in compost over the year and spread it over the yard, allowing it to decompose under frost and ice. By the time spring rolls around the yard is already bursting to life and it gives us a jumpstart on the fertilizing process.
