From what neighbors have said - the only time Maddie was cared for was when her Grandfather lived in the home. Her birthday wasn't held on her actual birthday and yet, her Mom didn't attend. Jenn got Maddie diagnosed with some pretty serious mental health issues, which allowed her to drug her daughter daily - it also provides a great "cover story" should she speak out. When she talked about her worst fear being a "Woody Allen situation" , it was obvious she knew and sees HERSELF as the victim.
