I have a NEX 12 system but don't know the master code. Will this work for me remembering I know nothing about alarm systems but I do know the active alarm censors locations but there are two thermal detectors that I do not know what zone they are on. The alarm is set to dial a security company I do not have any contract with. I am converting from landline through NBN which have a communication fault on to a 4G dialer that I need to set up. Any advice would be helpfull! Cheers

Hi, thanks for the awesome video. Well explained. I have reached the point where I got the IP of the comnav. However, when I enter the IP in the computer, I am getting page not working. I can see the comnav in the router admin page with the same IP.

Thanks for sharing. My original installer did not provide me with the installer code and now 5 years later, I find he has retired. I have not been able to reprogram my system when moving a PIR so this video has been extremely helpful.

Will it not loose the programming if power and battery both removed and then we have to call a tech to program the system from scratch? Thanks

The gravity trap also has a 2nd use, if you didn't have it and just came straight down to the outlet which is hanging off the stud, when you drill your hole through the noggin, you'll hit the nails holding the noggin in the next wall study bay. You HAVE to step into the middle of a wall study bay to avoid those nails in adjacent stud bays.
