scalpel 29 came with 100mm fork travel at that time, is 100mm good enough to go over the few small to medium rocks in El Prieto, or it is too rough for 100mm??. i have both bikes, 1 with 100mm, 1 with 120mm but the 100mm will be easier to climb Brown Mtn., so i prefer 100mm but worry about the somewhat technical descent in El Prieto.

Hmm... downhill on the Diverge with 20mm of front travel, skinny tires and narrow handle bar. Sounds exactly like 1994 with a hardtail MTB and a Rockshox Mag21. And now it's called fun!

I love it! You may need to add air to the tires though. kzbin.infoUgkxCaFvSVryLTkivIF4hk3BmXD6n1GX8i8F It was easy to assemble. I am 5’8 and the height of the handle is perfect for me. Great amount of storage underneath. Can’t beat the price and quality on tu is one. I bought it because I Liv in Florida. There is sand, grass and rocks all over. It was important for us to have wheels that is all terrain.

Have watched this dozens of times as I prepped to ride the course, and having done several laps now I still don't understand why he went down. This year (2022) in the Level C circuit race somebody went down on this turn again, but it was because he took a really crazy line and rode straight into the dirt on the right.

God loves you so much that He sent His Holy Son Jesus from heaven to earth, to be born of a virgin, to grow up and die on a cross for our sins, and to be put into a tomb 3 days and rise from the dead the third day, and He (Jesus) went back up to heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, & unbelieving, and abominable, & murderers, and immoral persons and sorcerers & idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus and put your true faith and trust in Him today and please repent.

level peddles, no outside pressure to lower center of gravity, you could see that rider going down a mile away. I'm a former professional bike racer. (Road and Cross country) and I have ridden at SeaOtter many times, I know this turn well. I hope he is ok though. I hate to see anyone hit the deck.

Thanks for posting! Thing I’m most interested in are the brakes. I have the previous generation DA & on long steep descents the brakes can be a bit annoying with slow retraction of the pistons. Do you think Shimano have nailed it this time for road (much faster speeds you need to slow down from vs MTB)? Btw I agree regarding rotors, they should put same size on rear as front.

how do you like the bars?
@TroyTemplin3 жыл бұрын
Not a fan of they way they look but they are nice. Pro doesn’t have the out front computer mounts yet and my aftermarket one didn’t work so computer has lived in my pocket. I think I’m going to switch to the stock Basso bars as soon as the new hoses I ordered show up.

Man interesting you got a bike with 9200 on. But i am interested how heavy your bike is as this groupset is pretty heavy?
@TroyTemplin3 жыл бұрын
The bike is 16.37 pounds and the Pro bars are heavier than the included Basso setup. The new Dura-Ace C50s are 1509 grams with tubeless valves and tape. Could easily be under 16 lbs with different wheels.

@@TroyTemplin thanks Troy for the review. I have a channel too and did a couple of vids on this new realease. I was very surprised at the DA and Ultegra weights. I get people like wireless, and electric. But this has made the groupsets very heavy, that was okay previously because you had the lighter, cheaper choice option of mechanical. But now Shimano only offer electric. To me having top teir groupsets that are either the same weight or heavier than 105 leaves me scratching my head???
@TroyTemplin3 жыл бұрын
@@waynosfotos I rarely look at the weight since most of this is static weight. Sure it all ads up but wheels and tires are the real game changers. Wheels are so much more efficient in weight distribution. Minimizing the moving or dynamic weight is key and if you can’t, reducing the radius of the weight makes so much more of a difference. I’ve had 10 and 11 pound bikes, they are not fun to ride honestly. Currently my main bike is an Aethos at 14.12 pounds with Cadex wheels. It’s almost the perfect balance for me but the wheels make the biggest difference. 15-17 pounds I think is a realistic build most of the time that has few compromises. I did the math some time ago but removing 1 gram of weight at the rim is equivalent of 160 grams at a rotor or cassette dynamically. That means if you have a rim or tire that is simply 10 grams lighter you can add 1600 grams. Removing the brake track for rim brakes and all that material has made rims so much lighter that you can now go deeper (aero) and still have an advantage over older low profile wheels.
