Hi can you please mention the measurements of each item and when did you put baking soda and how much? What temperature on the pot and for how many minutes? These are important questions and I'm upset that they aren't mentioned even on your website, I'm a new cook. Please help!

Hi- they are indeed listed on the website. Here is a direct link to the entire recipe with amounts and instructions: www.forkinthekitchen.com/30-minute-vegetarian-baked-beans/#recipe

1 -stick of butter 1 cup brown sugar vanilla extract nutmeg cinnamon cloves salt OK - and I think the secret sauce is that you have to toss in the ingredients with overflowing sentiments of glee and excitement which - i guess - infuses the drink with all that positive energy. nice and short. no need to take more than 30 secs to give us the instruction! thank you
Looks really good, I’m going to try it for Christmas. Thanks

This ain’t broccoli - this is Bimi….
@ForkintheKitchen18 күн бұрын
It is broccolini - and does go by different names - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Broccolini. From what I can tell it looks like Bimi is a specific grower of broccolini in Europe, which they also refer to as "tenderstem broccoli" (www.bimibroccoli.co.uk/about/faqs). Thanks for sharing - fun to learn about it in different locations!

Can I use self raising flour instead of all purpose flour?
@ForkintheKitchen19 күн бұрын
Since there's not any baking powder in this recipe I wouldn't necessarily recommend it (self-rising flour has baking powder and salt added to it). If you do want to give it a try, I would omit the salt, or at least halve it, and know that it will change the texture of the cookies to likely even lighter and fluffier. Would love to hear if you try it!

how long does this stay good for?
@ForkintheKitchen24 күн бұрын
It can stay good up to 2 weeks if stored properly in the fridge, but if you notice any spots or discoloration, it should be tossed.

Good and easy recipe. Question though >> why do you need vinegar in this recipe? What does it change and why shout it be there ? Vinegar has strong acid effect and I don’t get why it is needed in stir fry sauce . Honestly.

I like the subtle tang it adds, but if you prefer it out, then of course you can skip it.

Thanks for sharing this recipe, I really don’t like using canned soups due to the insane amount of sodium in therm which my kidneys can’t handle. Have you tried making it with oat milk or other plant based milk substitute?’ I’m curious how it would turn out using oat milk. 🌻
@ForkintheKitchenАй бұрын
I haven't but I've had another reader comment that they used unsweetened almond milk with success, so I'd guess oat milk would too. I like to use canned coconut milk in soups instead of cream, which I think could be a good option too! Would love to hear if you give it a try!

Do you have any zero sugar recipes for coffee creamer??
@ForkintheKitchen2 ай бұрын
Unfortunately, I don't. You might be able to substitute with your favorite sugar free sweetener like Splenda, or try monk fruit sweetener. I'd love to know if you give it a try!

Hi! You could, but you'll have to cook them longer to ensure the interior becomes tender. It is a different cooking process but if you're comfortable have a go at it.
