Btw, the reason I demo’d the cave game 1 was because of channeler. I had a bad hand already and the cave was your only source of self-pain to gain flying. Needed to be able to chump block :)

Thank yall! I’ll take mono white whenever it’s viable in a format. I really enjoyed playing these games. There was an auto tapper mistake the last game with demolition field tapping my mirrex for some god forsaken reason, but it had no bearing on the outcome of the game. Bats are suuuupeer resilient

I just built a bats deck for the Midweek event, it crushed at 3-0. It's not a perfect deck by any means, but against otters, rabbits, and mice it went great

I feel it's the most consistent of the new Kindreds introduced, with Frogs being the next most maliable type that can be both aggressive and grind. Frogs have some insane curve outs, but can take it slow and grind if the meta pushes in that direction. Although I think bats are still far and away the best for Bo3.

I feel you on Karn's barking. Our new neighbors have some toy dog, that yesterday, barked for literally 6 hours straight. I guess the owners didn't train it, so when they left at 5pm, it just barked non-stop until they got back at 11pm. Awful.

This standard is wild to me. There are so many brews that seem viable and I'm still baffled that the UW soldiers deck hasn't made a comeback yet. The bats deck seems super interesting to pilot but I wonder if the list couldn't be optimized a little more. Not running at least a few copies of Get Lost feels weird and both the Thought-Stalker and the Gumdrop poisoner seem a bit out of place to me. Zoraline also feels like she could be a 3x at least given how good she is at recovering from a wipe.

Gumdrop poisoner is a bit better that it seems. Its probably the easiest way to solve the case due to Lifelink/adventure mode. It is also a good tempo play if you have 1/2 lifelinkers or case especialy into a deep cabernet bat. But yea it can be bricky with no setup so 2-1 feels correct. Still probably the first card to cut if deck gets new support

I feel like tidebinder or a some counterspells in the side would be a good bullet for some of the more... turn 4-5 play 1 big dumb idiot and win decks. if your already going blue it feels silly not to run the best 1 blue pip sideboard cards in the format

Still not as bad as Sunfall IMO I've come up against it with a similar deck, it's a pain but still just a creature, and we're in the best color pair for removal.
