Brett Bodine definitely won the race and DW is a cry baby.

My heart broke for the Earnhardt family. But, it also broke for Michael Waltrip. Here was the single best day of his life, and it turned into the worst!

Mike Skinner also looked into Dale Earnhardts car. Apparently he has not talked about what he saw either.

I just realized this. Not only did Ken Schrader look into Earnhardts car; Mike Skinner did as well. Apparently Mike Skinner doesn't want to talk about what he saw either.

Dale Earnhardt tried blocking the entire field. Look at all the cars behind him.

That facial expression by Ken Schrader at 6:57 says it all. I am pretty sure he knew Dale was gone when he first looked into his car.

Dale Earnhardt JUST missed the big crash a few laps earlier in which Tony Stewart was flipping wildly. If he had been caught up in that wreck, he would be alive today.

I'm not saying he deserved to die no. But he spent a lifetime of dirty racing and cause a lot of crashes so it's almost like Karma came back to bite him in the ass

Ambrose was the only driver that can rival Tony Stewart as the greatest to ever race at Watkins Glen. Won 3 straight Nationwide races. Won 2011 and 2012 races.

Amazes me all these years later its still seems like a fresh wound. I feel so bad for Ken looking into Dales car and seeing one if his best friends slumped over lifeless in his car.

And to think we lost NBC to these guys for 8 years. However, NBC did get a new lease on life broadcasting NASCAR, and they came back better than ever.

Glad Brett won. His one and only win.

I mean................ his team used to take dives for eachother legally, before banned.... His team is at risk, and you don't think he took a dive lol. He took a dive.

I can not claim to be a fan of NASCAR. I do enjoy the stories of the people who were on the wrench. So thankful to have the weight of Kenny Schrader and Daryl Waltrip sharing their souls with us. Michael Waltrip winning his first race under such tragic circumstances. I sure wish that life told a different story on this day. The world lost a great one.

All these years later, & I’m still mad Hard Spun’s jockey asked him to go for the lead when he did. Moving into those already blazing fractions took away his kick. Imagine the stretch drive between him, Curlin, & Street Sense if Pino just would have waited.
