I saw one of Dario's flip at Michigan that same year. Dario's a great driver.

i must say, dario was not to blame in either incident. dario was clearly driving at the normal pitlane entry speed when he comes up behind danica, who is also stuck behind Dixon. Im not accusing him here, but it does seem suspicious that while dixon should be fighting for the race, he backs off in the pits. then in the second incident, dario wasnt told about the end of the race or anything. he cant be expected to keep count of every lap, or notice a tiny flag at 220mph

If no rules are to be changed I recommend the bumpers of these safety trucks to be lowered almost to ground. They can be designed to look cool and proper to be in a racetrack. No one wants to see anybody impaled under one of them. We almost so it happen....

if a NASCAR ran into somebody like how Dario did they proboly would have just spun out but beacuse Indy cars are so much lighter, was pretty much like going off a ramp

Only because Hornish and Allmendinger went to NASCAR and Ryan Hunter-Reay is in shitty equipment. If you put RHR is Danica's car he'd be a stud.

Yes, but he is focussing on racing... hes closing in on matsuura, he has received no warning of the race nearly over, he is still pushing. Check the onboard footage. The flags are hardly obvious.

@xupthree60 Alright, genious...look at when I posted that. That's right, February. Before they even ran a damn race in the season. NOW RHR is in the same equipment in a PART time team...oh and he's already been WAY better than Danica...including the WIN at Long Beach. He's 50 points and 5 spots ahead of her in the points. He'd be even further up if Mike Conway didn't try to drive thru him on the last lap of the Indy 500....oh that's another thing, he has broken fingers, what's Danica's excuse?

@redbull7946 so you like watching a "race" where there are three overtakes in the entire race, if that? f1 cars don't refuel, so where's the strategy there? go ahead, spend your money to watch cars go single file for 60 laps (which is defined as "a complete circuit" ...yes, f1 goes "around and around" too) with no passing, fine by me!

You should blame the teams for these incidents although I think its suspicious that Dario runs up and eventually runs into someone, his team should have told him it was the last lap. Danica's tire problem was the crews fault, for the tire to blow out at that speed is just stupid they should have replaced them. Just bad pit strategy/ decision!

Dario Franchitti can't drive and he is blind. Danica Patrick has problems with her right rear tyre that's why she spins by comming out of the pits. She's the best female driver.

perhaps...there are quite a few female drivers that are more talented than her but not as pretty..like Ana Beatriz...and there's a slew of younger, more talented girls in NASCAR that will show her that just being a female wont automatically escalate her.

also like the guy above you said Zanardi did the same thing but he lost his legs. I really wish people would stop looking at female drivers the way you do. If she's not winning every race then she doesn't belong there is how you people seem to look at. well guess what there's lots of great drivers in the IRL that have never won a race and she has. Stop trying to make her live up to some unattainable goal to get your respect.

See this is why I dislike Dario! He will blame everyone else for stuff he has some blame. The other incident referenced in the beginning (2007 Michigan): Dario came down more on Dan then Dan went up on Dario. For the most part, Dario's fault! Ok Dario, try & blame D-Dub for this flip! >:( ... I thought so!

this is the main reason why the schu would never race indy car at the 500.....indy cars are too light. formula 1 cars are better built and protect you much better then indy cars. go F1!!!!!!!!! lol
