I know this is few years back, but there is some abuse in the video, like hitting your horse with a crop near sensitive parts of their hind back, which you have a long whip to do that for, which cases a horse to buck in discomfort, and smacking you horse with a whip just because of a refusal, which will make them less likely to want to jump because they know if they do something wrong they get hit. But other than that you do have good seat and can learn.

listening to this was so hard, cause i used to get panic attacks while riding, and your breathing made me so scared because i would just tense up and sit there, im so sorry this happened to you i know exactly how you felt even before the fall. 😢

You know, I loved riding (I have back problems now so I can't ride anymore) and was great in the ring, trails, beach. But I also got anxiety attacks going fast especially when the horse was feeling his oats so to speak and didn't want to slow down But I do miss riding. I hope you're okay, Lilly, I hope nothing was broken.

Such a great video! Thank you so much for sharing it. Loved it, learned so much and in particular, gained valuable insights watching you ride through his mega athletic expressions of anxiety! I believe other (more forceful) SJ training approaches would have resulted in both rider and horse landing in a heap on the floor, bodies and all confidence shattered. Weaker, less determined/talented riding may have produced a nice hacking horse, ‘impossible’ to do anything with at show venues. Extremely well done so far 👏 👏. Brilliant 🤩 ❤. Am subscribing! Xx

Love watching these sort of clips. I used to be a groom on a showing and hunting yard and some friends used to send there show cob to us at the end of the season to go autumn hunting and loved it, he was built like a brick s#1t house and went home looking like a thoroughbred. I think its nice to give them something different to do stops them going sour. 🏇
