Great description!!! There'd be no way I'd give up after only eight fences too. Really enjoyed the video.

Hes a yacht He sails over anything. What a horse some real talent and attitude but the ground work needs to be done to get him working with you instead of the nappy stuff. Being stopped on course is hellish to deal with and my language might have been the same!
@LilyEquestrian Жыл бұрын
No amount of ground work will change him, we’ve done it all! He is massively improved so much but this just happens sometimes in certain circumstances. His blood was up and getting stopped on course just set him off!

@@LilyEquestrian my gelding who’s 17yrs old and my other one who’s 21 they bath nap worse than my 5yo 😂 they both go nappy during the summer sometimes so it’s completely normal. Ppl just have no idea what there on about

watch Steve young horsemanship and watch older and old horses change in an instant. I believe this horse is a prime candidate as he's a flamboyant emotional animal albeit brilliant but just a touch of this work might make a world of difference. And I have bred and backed and worked hunter eventers so I do have a little understanding @@jess.event.ponies8254

Maybe you should have a bit more support for the people giving their free time helping out at these events and the reason for the hold up…..rude attitude
@chalc88828 ай бұрын
I didnt find any rudeness directed towards the volunteers... just a miscommunication from people giving different directives. You can be frustrated about a situation without it being personal.
@LilyEquestrian8 ай бұрын
It was not my intention to be rude at all, I had one person flagging us down and one person shouting ride on so I do believe it was reasonable for me to be confused. I also have a very nappy horse so I was frustrated at the situation but not at any individual as these things can’t be helped. What I didn’t include was how we were up at the start ready to set off when another team cut in front of us which the steward at the start allowed despite us being next on the schedule to run and being up there ready to go, which further wound my horse up when having to wait even longer before we could begin our round.
