There will never be a singer of songs like Mac. It is story telling of days gone by.

I am 79 and remember a version that sang about my Mother is gone up to heaven, My Father has gone down below & by brother has gone with my mother & where I will go nobody knows. I was young and can not remember who sang it but I can not find this version at all. It was a Can I sleep in your barn song though

One of the last CDs Mac did was one with Meryl Haggard. It is a prized possession of mine. Both are now singing for the Lord. My father has been a citizen of heaven since July 4, 1965. Miss him lots.

If you asked my Dad who his favorite singer was, he would have said Mac Wiseman and he would have said it without even thinking about it. I can always tell when my Dad is on my mind or I'm channeling him so to speak. I find myself playing Mac songs on KZbin. He really was awesome!
