We lost mac Wiseman but his music is still around he wrote the best songs ever.

He certainly didnt write this song. This is a published 19th Century Parlor Ballad that was published by professional song writers in the USA. It was actually one of two widely published and popular songs with the same name and same theme, though I thin the other was published in England. I have adored Mac since around 1962. I have never heard of any song that he wrote. Can you name one?

Chubby was not even close to greatest fiddler ever. But NO one played Chubbys licks better than him. Great fiddler with big smile, weak jokes, huge influence on bluegrass. Was able to play with him once out back at festival outside Hugo, OK. Got my picture with him. My grin was even bigger than his.
