You need dissolve it all from Mitolife. It’s 2 systemic enzymes called Serrapeptase and Nattokinase. They will go through your body and dissolve cysts. Take them on an empty stomach first thing in the morning and wait 30 to an hour before you eat. Start with 2, work up to 6 or more. Much love man.

I think using reference ID (I do sometimes) is a tool so you can check "How is this translating?". Here's the thing though... Unless you train your ears FIRST and understand how to listen objectively on mixes, it is all for naught. In the end you need to learn how to mix as is on whatever you are using before you alter it. These products are not for the novice because they don't have the training to understand what is even happening. Knowing how your monitors respond is one thing. It's a whole other beast to know YOUR ears. And the hands down most important thing; how you perceive audio.

Why even bother phase aligning if you're just going to trigger those ridiculous drum samples that overpower everything?
@TheMixAcademy3 ай бұрын
Because the drum samples will follow the original source’s phase relationship with the rest of the kit. Even so, always check phase when blending or replacing.
@thsithks3 ай бұрын
@@TheMixAcademy unless you are hand aligning each sample to the first cycle of every single hit, they’re not in phase. Not Trigger 2 or any other sample trigger software is actually phase accurate, despite claiming to be.
@TheMixAcademy3 ай бұрын
@@thsithks You're absolutely correct. That's why I start with them aligned, use Trigger 2 as the tool to replace and/or blend and then commit that processing for my assistant to then go hit by hit and confirm phase accuracy.

8:48 you could also put that tape recorder plugin on a bus and send your dry vocal to it on a send and use the fader of the bus to add that coloration to the stereo out
@robertoferrarini71533 ай бұрын
Thanks, very interesting! I have a question related to OHs. In the DAW I see you have two separate mono channels panned instead of one stereo channel. And the two going in a OH bus to control them together. OK I guess you are then recording with two channels in mono in your audio interface, is that correct? Do you see also a scenario where you record them with two channels melted in stereo in audio interface going in one stereo channel in the DAW? Thanks

Great video as always! The backdoor send for the kick you refer to, is it the rearbus technique? I used it but normally it's everything but the drum kit that is send 🤔 So you set the rearbus as usual and send a bit of the kick in it for some extra punch?
@TheMixAcademy4 ай бұрын
Thanks, man! It's actually not the rear bus technique like Scheps uses. It's just a clean copy of the kick that helps bail me out when I let things get out of hand loudness wise.

I have mixed feelings about Slate VSX. The bass in the emulations seems to be totally overpowering (in the reference tracks, not mine). It may sounds cool and exciting, but I can't believe that studio monitors have such an overly bassy sound in recording studios. In addition, the speaker balance within a given simulation seems strange, because when switching from small near-field speakers that can sound as if they somehow had sub-bass, we suddenly get even more bass. Totally weird thing. In the meantime, out of curiosity, I checked Realphones 2.0, which I was skeptical about, especially after spending a lot of money on VSX, but I must say that after listening to their emulations, it sounds much more realistic. I recommend checking it out. After a long time of comparing Slate VSX vs Realphones vs my KRK 5, I'm considering returning the VSX.

You might also try Oratory1990's presets for headphone calibration. I'm not a huge fan of the speaker emulations on any software but have found a whole new world of clarity and definition simply by applying the Oratory preset for my 650's. If you Google or search Reddit for Oratory1990 you should find everything you need. And... It's free!

Muchas veces sucede eso, tienes una mezcla en la que los drums no ayudan a llevar esa energía de la canción, y aveces es bueno buscar opciones diferente al diferentes sonidos.
