Oh man, I will tell you, each time I am opportuned, to watch your videos, I always learn a lot. New word, I think..."Dub-lee-kick" or "Dub-li-kick". Where you doubled the kick... Yeah, I think it is time for your own dictionary. Side hustle.lol *, -15 sounded good to me as well. Liked the re-created kick Question: Are we aiming to detune the kick to match the tone of the bass guitar or are we aiming for a more matched low end? I think the detuning was a little extra, I try not to mess with that, but I think I saw your thinking pattern there and will attempt it, soon....... Good stuff man. You always keep me awake with this stuff....

Thanks for the support, my friend! The main thing I’m listening or even feeling for with the kick pitch shifting is how the low end of the kick resonates with the bass. I’m looking to find the sweet spot to what feels the best to me. With the Sub Pac it makes it easy but you should be able to hear a difference on cans (closed back will be your best bet) and make a decision that way as well. Some songs it may feel better to pitch the kick above the bass, sometimes right around the same resonance of the bass subs, and others below the lowest notes of the bass.
